The trailer or commercial may not even represent the final product, but It gave you that rush of dopamine so now stays in your brain. There´s no decade limit, you may have seen It 3 months or 50 years ago (I´m guessing even Atari had some good ads back in the day).

It´s not like I want to know your age, maybe (just maybe) this can be some sort of archive in SG. And yes, I checked the discussions and I couldn´t find something related so I hope I don´t get a thread link below anyway.

For me It´s Hitman: Absolution and No Man´s Sky Those 2 are the first ones that come to my mind without digging too much.

There's the old ad for the Playstation version of Descent.

When I think about flying through mine shafts and shooting robots, naturally I think of...Rodney Dangerfield.

Every now and then, late at night, the commercial for Pokemon Red and Blue (the one where all of the pokemon are on the bus) pops into my head riiiiight as I'm about to go to sleep. You know the one.

GTA 4 had an ad piece on some show in my country. A guy was showing walking around the city and he especially pointed out how he shot up a car and a house and then showed the same place later with accenting that the bullet holes remain after coming back to game later.

That was first time I badly wanted to buy a game and had to upgrade my PC with more ram to be able to run it. I was around 13-14 at the time of it coming out I think.

I dont have any video though as it was some old ass TV show :D But you get the idea.

Mass Effect 2. I was so hyped for that game and the music/editing of the trailer was amazing.

I remember that 20 min E3 2003 Half-Life 2 demo. It was incredible, specially for all the interactivity and physics on display (the power cables!). Character models aside, it still holds up pretty well these days.

Kingdom Hearts 2 final mix secret ending, which is basically a teaser of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Damn, that ending got me hyped for a looong time.

Here's the link if anyone's interested or want to reminisce:

Even though the heist associated with this wasn't the absolute best, getting back an old favorite was so exciting! It's especially great that Pete was so cool about everything. He was just as excited as we were, which made things even better.

And Wolf just tore up that Dozer! Fuck yeah!

Early Zelda Twilight Princess trailers. Twilight realm had a darker tone, not in final product, was really dissapointed not seeing that.

Resident Evil 5 early trailers. Capcom failed to deliver the insane amount of enemies, final product only trough mercenaries dlc. A scar that didnt healed.

Zelda Skyward Sword backwards trailer. A Zelda fans loses his mind there.

Some older ones:

Prince of Persia 2008
Final Fantasy Type-0 (was sad to see how badly they butchered the art in the HD port)
Berserk PS2 (never released in English officially, but theirs a fan translation patch now)
The Simpsons Game ("coming to every platform...ever made!")
Mass Effect 2 (the music fit so perfectly)
