I can only echo the sentiment of No man's sky having great trailers. Still like some of the update videos,

Still hyped for DokeV ever since I've seen the first trailer. Kinda disappointed that there isn't that much other stuff on the channel yet, except a "K-pop music video" that I really don't care about.

And lastly, I'm going to mention the Legends of Runeterra champion reveals. Could probably feature a number of them, but I'm going to stick to my 2 all-time favorites.

It was this screenshot, printed alongside a german PC Games preview for Operation Flashpoint, about 1/4th of a page.
This little picture and the info attached "pick up any weapons, use any vehicles" - it changed EVERYTHING i longed for playing in the doom and duke3d engines - you bet there was a kickass trailer playing in my head!
Game easily consumed a decade of my life.
The screenshot is from one of the single missions, titled "Ambush".
One, two, three, communicate, a-ha! =)
Actually can´t stop looking at it as it gives me that warm & fuzzy feeling.

Dungeon Keeper, it's just the intro for the game, but that's what they used as a trailer too. A bit of humor and just awesome character design had me hyped for this game. Still a very playable game to this day, a true classic.
Hellgate London, this trailer had such atmosphere and style to it... really got me hyped for the game. Sadly, that hype died off when the actual game came out... trailer is still impressive though!
Battlefield 2, after having played Battlefield 1942 for like almost three years at this point... everything shown in this trailer was just mind blowing. The jump from one game to the next was just staggering. I remember this trailer feeling like there was just no way the game would actually look this good, but it's just straight gameplay. Actually an honest trailer for once.

Some of my most memorable.

I'm with you on No Man's Sky - For me it was the very first trailer of "Every X Procedural" debut at VGX 2013.
Then the E3 2014 trailer of a lush environment compared to what we got day 1 had me simultaneously laughing & crying, which has stuck with me ;)

The Dead Space 2 launch trailer with that Smashing Pumpkins song.

Golden Sun, only the violins shooting flaming bows though.

The trailer or commercial may not even represent the final product, but It gave you that rush of dopamine so now stays in your brain. There´s no decade limit, you may have seen It 3 months or 50 years ago (I´m guessing even Atari had some good ads back in the day).
It´s not like I want to know your age, maybe (just maybe) this can be some sort of archive in SG. And yes, I checked the discussions and I couldn´t find something related so I hope I don´t get a thread link below anyway.
For me It´s Hitman: Absolution and No Man´s Sky Those 2 are the first ones that come to my mind without digging too much.
