Yeah, I've brought only 4 months this year and twice 6€, one 7€ and the last 4.5€ so besides not wasting in weak months, it is cheaper.
I would say it's only worth for someone that uses humble library the whole year.
No to mention if it's another weak year like 2022 where I've only got 1 month.

It's about $8 a month, hardly weak, and guaranteed.

Considering how many people actually skip months... I think they mean that it's not a substantial discount to get them buying the bundle they don't really want to begin with. Like a comment before said they bought 4 bundles this year, it's hard to sell 12 months to somebody who wants 1/3 of it, at a discount. When I had month to month sub, I barely got coupons because I bought basically all months. 20% discount to get the same, and not having to jiggle cancellation/pause dates, claiming games before deadlines and possibly still not getting coupons is not a bad deal for me.

It's 45% off, right? If a month is usually $12 and some people get some offers for a few dollars off, a guaranteed rate of $8 is great. You can also skip months with this.

I missed some parts of the calculation, like the annual sub is already discounted compared to buying individual months.
Full price is 10€ here, and I can get the an annual deal any time for 109€ instead of 12*10=120€
Buying it with the coupon makes it cost 93€ - so it's a 16€ extra deal for signing up now, and an overall 22.5% discount compared to buying it month-by-monthy. (7.75€ instead of 10€).

Still living off my annual membership from 3 years ago, which I'm pretty sure I got for less. Only used 5 out of 12 months so far 😄
I guess since you always have the flexibility to skip monthly, it could be a decent offer if you don't have any ongoing membership, but otherwise it doesn't sound like you're saving much.

I've been getting month end coupons for around 6/7$ i think so think it's a skip for me.

I agree that sometimes you don't get the best deal, but I got that 20% on new released games while Steam was offering 10%. It's good then. I've also found other deals, but it's not always the most useful thing in the world, but it adds up on top of the sale if that's the case.

I think you need to add that users can buy subscription for up to 2 years (24 choices).

I still have the year-long sub I got more than 3 years ago .... So many pauses ....

So it's basically $8 and change per month. I'm not opposed to this.

that or cancel every month as soon as you get it and get the 6$ coupon 72$+ you can jus tnot buy any month you want

I assume they gave you 1€ off when you've tried to pause. I got only once such offer.
Just pause, answer why you want to pause (I assume answer counts while they choose users who will receive coupons) and wait. Last 2 times I've paused right after new Choice was reviled and got $8, $7 and $6 coupons during the month.

Hmm maybe i will take it
What is the coupon people talking about ? when i use the cancel button for a month i got rarely a discount not every time maybe 1/6 ... it's with the ign stuff ? but for ign the coupon are for new accounts right ?

You won't receive discounts every month. I skip or cancel often and guess what, this year I only received 2 discounts, one last month and one in March. So it varies, there's no guarantee that you will receive a discount for every month to ensure you have a $7 price. It's worth it since you can skip.

I guess that's the issue for me. I buy once every 2-3 months, and I rarely receive any discounts. Then again I have 2 accounts, and on the one I didn't buy for a year I received the same discounts like the other account, 2 in a year. I heard Europeans receive less discounts so.. it is what it is.

I agree. Sometimes they give you a discount, other times they won't. So for me, the best approach is to get this and pause when necessary. I forgot to pause one day and they got my money but because I didn't reveal any key, they refunded me. So even if you have issues, they will help if possible. I think the deal is solid. If they would force you to get every month sure, I would get it. But you can pause and just use this for the months you want, for years.
