I don't really have a favorite, although tanks I consider favorites would be: PzIVH, Sdkfz 2, 3, and 4 (if you consider them tanks), Panther G, Tiger I, Sturer Emil, JagdTiger, IS-3, T-55AGM, T-72, T-90, BMP 2 and 3, M1128 MGS (if you consider it a tank). I'm sure there's others I like but don't really think I should keep going on with the list.

I like inter-war tanks, as their design is closely tied with mechanization and doctrine debates.

Do you mean current Tanks? Id go for a Leopard 2A6 or a Merkava Mk4 but the French AMX-56 Leclerc is also nice.
But if you mean of all time
would be more like Tiger Tank, Panzer 4, T 34/85, Leopard 2A6 I also have a soft spot for the JS-3 Josef Stalin
