[BUG] Group Sync

It's not a bug, it's because Steam consider that you are still a group member when a group is deleted, so you have to leave them manually.

Find out group ID (go the Steamgifts page of the group and check the link to the Steam page, the ID will be in the link
Go to http://steamcommunity.com/my/groups/
Open browser console
Enter

ConfirmLeaveGroup("<group ID>");

You'll get a confirmation prompt, just accept and you'll be out of the group

Strange... I did that and got the prompts to leave the groups but after syncing again SG still shows them... wonder what I am doing wrong

Normally the group ID should be enough to leave, the group name parameter is only used to display it in the prompt

Is there a way to view the groups available on SteamGifts? It seems each group has an unique ID https://www.steamgifts.com/group/Group_ID/Group_Name

Ah, no, there's no global list of groups. It would be really huge since even groups that are not doing giveaways get added to the website.
