Well, I think it's awesome!! The characters are well-written and likable, the art-style is modern anime and very amazing and detailed, the story takes you with it and keeps you interested in what will happen next. Just watch a couple of episodes, you won't regret it. I think the beginning of the series, with the hunter-exams is the most interesting part.

Maybe One Piece was really good long time ago, but now it's crap far far from being the best anime. The animation is just terrible. But they managed to make the Episode of Nami special really good. And Kenshin: Tsuioku-hen is what you should list as your #1 sir. Really great OVA, music, animation, story. It's surely one of the best anime ever made.

It hurts me too, because I loved One Piece, but looking at the anime now is making me want to cry. What have they done ;_; It earns tons of money, it should be much better than it is. But it's not. The art is really bad now. The faces are drawn lazily, and Nami/Robin/girls overall bodies look like spines with boobs. That's the truth, and you have to deal with it.

Not really. The pacing was bad, the ending of the first arc was rally bad. It felt rushed, and it was silly - "power of will" kind. In a world where everything depends on computer calculations. Seriously, I expected much more from a work based on praised novel.

I really liked the manga, but I just couldn't get into the anime as much. For some reason(probably shuffling events around in the first and second season) kind of turned me off of it.

For me, one of the best I've seen are Sailor Moon & UFO Robo Grandizer, simply because are the first I've seen, not because are that good (yeah, laugh all you want :P).
I also like the work of Makoto Shinkai and Studio Ghibli.

But it's way too hard to say. I liked every single series I've seen. I only mentioned the series above because they kinda stuck in to my head, probably because I found the quite unique when I saw them.

I'm suprised there's no Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha, but yeah... seriously, best anime how? concept, story, art execution, voice acting, soundtrack, what?!
still fond of the first guyver oav s1, (s2 sucked) music in akira, El Hazard TMW oav was just magical... uh... eva is just a mindscrew,can be fun sometimes, and then there's stuff like macross, which is always good for a giggle, and why is no-one mentioning miyazake films?
