When I search for game-trades over google, I typically get dozens of links to this site that all link to the same page. Google believes they are different trades because the title (and hence, on this site, the URL) has changed.

This can be fixed by adding a canonical URL link to each trade.

For instance, for this random trade, you would place the following tag in the <head>:

<link rel="canonical" href="http://www.steamgifts.com/trade/XTLBy/">

Then even when the title/URL changes, Google will still recognize it as the same trade.

Bump - this is fairly important, and also very easy to implement.

Probably because most people don't really understand the whole coding thing...

Nice idea. And, as you said, very easy to implement.

What does the time-period have to do with anything? Also, why are people treating the bug-reports list like a discussion forum?

It is healthy for suggestions to be debated since everyone has their own opinion on what would be a good or a bad idea. In this case, I can't see any reason not to add this though.
