For reference

There is a small notice at the top but there is a lot of information in it and people might not read it. I think the first sentence (All gifts should be Steam redeemable CD keys or Steam gifts only) is the only important one; the rest could be removed, or moved to the bottom. There should also be something about the bundle rules in order to prevent attempts of abuse. Maybe there should be a sentence about what is not allowed (coupons, origin-games, etc). I think this would at least reduce the amount of giveaways that need to be removed and therefore reduce the workload for the mods as well as making the users' experience a bit better. What do you think?

But making it clearer and shorter might help. Maybe something like this.

I like it. I said repeatedly in the past that putting a note about bundle keys there will do some good, but nobody listened. Unfortunately many people assume that there's no point in making things clearer. Stupid, I know, but as someone said on this thread, "stupid people are stupid."

There should also be a button, when you make a new thread:"Make sure, that you post suggestions in the support forum for suggestions!"

and a notifier "if you post referal links you will be suspended. if you ask a question that has already been answered a hundred times, do not wonder why the rest of the community comes running with torches and pitch forks to tar and feather you."

Its concise. Also, aren't bundles acceptable now?

"Maybe there should be a sentence about what is not allowed (coupons, origin-games, etc)."

Why put this when the first line it says "All gifts should be Steam redeemable CD keys or Steam gifts only" ?

as long as there are still users that think after creating a giveaway, the selected game will magically appear in their inventory/library, I think we have greater problems than this ;)

They need a checkbox for each thingy...

  • All gifts should be Steam redeemable CD keys or Steam gifts only.
  • Winners will be automatically generated at random by SteamGifts to ensure all entries have an equal chance of being selected.
  • The e-mail addresses of the winners will be viewable on the Manage Your Giveaways page, where you'll also be able to track user feedback.
  • If you have any questions, take a second to post on the forum.
  • Thanks.

"If you have any questions, take a second to post on the forum."

I think you mean "If you have any questions, take a second to read the FAQ and use the forum's search feature BEFORE you post in the forum"
