Funny thing: since I chose this avatar for my very first character, I never even knew it was Edwin's original until I met him in BG2. For me this avatar is still called "Balthas". :)

I am not a huge Edwin fan, but I think this image is one of the coolest mage pictures ever made! And he looks a little bit like me ;-) Of cause all my Baldur's Gate mages and thiefs had this Avatar.
