Hi everyone ;

I wanted to know if there is any application that can give Trading cards of the games you own ,without downloading and installing the game?! (except "Idle Master")

Thanks ;)

I think SAM (Steam Achievements Manager) can be used to idle.

...that's not how it works.
When the coundown ends, the program checks if there are any drops left for the game currently idling.
If there are still some cards to drop, it keeps idling the game; it there are no cards left to drop, it starts idling the next game

Yeah I have that issue too sometimes and I have to restart it. It wasn't happening when I first started using, and I think that issue appeared after an update so I think the problem is on their side.

but i had a game that i haven't played it even once, and all card drops was remaining , so in the end of the countdown i should have get at least one card; i didn't :( i have waited for the second countdown to finish too, the result was the same

I repeat myself : that is not how it works. The countdown has nothing to do with the time needed to drop the cards. It's just checking if there are any drops left, so it knows if it's time to move on to the next game or not.

Yeah, now that you can refund a game if you have played less than 2 hours, they have increased the time needed to drop cards.
I am currently playing Wasteland 2, it took me 16 hours to get the 8 cards from the game.

Sounds about right; 14 hours here before refunds were a thing.

You know that you need to wait 2 hours before getting a single card? Valve just changed it, so it's not Idle Master's fault...

What Caffettiera wants to say is, you should edit the AppId in said .txt file, so that instead of appid 440 (Team Fortress 2), you put 201790 (Orcs Must Die 2). That way, when you start TF2, Steam will think you're actually playing Orcs Must Die 2, instead of TF2.

Now, I don't know if this works, but if it does, it's a not so bad alternative to IdleMaster. Only problem is, you won't be able to automate it to check if all cards dropped and go to the next game.

Also, if it does actually work, start TF2 in console mode, so it doesn't waste precious memory and CPU time.

It opens an error box, no ram\cpu use

Well, all of this was just an assumption after all.

It works for card gathering, although I'd suggest a small game for that instead. Most Adobe Air games use this old TXT method of identifying themselves, so they are a good option.

I just tested this with Hotline Miami and I can confirm that it does work.
