this would be really awesome, it can be so frustrating to always misclick

I’d appreciate it as well for the same reason (a click on the giveaway button will often register as a click on the image if the page is slow-loading).

I should add where it’s most annoying is in trains - even if the formatting is identical, there’s no tap-tap-tap for next-next-next, it’s tap-wait-tap-wait-no, keep waiting-tap-wait...

Although i never experienced this particular problem the idea sounds good and easy to apply so those that did experience it don't have to anymore.

Presently, the site styles only fix the size of giveaway images if there is no image, allowing a placeholder to be shown:
However, as all giveaway images share this size, I would like to recommend this fixed size be extended to all giveaway images:
The benefit provided here is for people on slow connections. When on a slow connection, the giveaway image may take some time to load in after the page does. This results in the button to enter the giveaway being higher up on the screen: in the same position normally occupied by the giveaway image. If a user attempts to enter the giveaway before the image has loaded, there is a significant chance that he will attempt to click the button at the same time as the image loads in (pushing the entry button lower and loading the giveaway image into the same place as the button used to be), resulting in him accidentally clicking the giveaway image link, and opening the Steam Store page for the game instead. By fixing the size of the image block before the image loads in, the giveaway entry button will be forced into its normal position, fixing this problem.
