The game is cross-platform and if price is a determining factor, do note that the game is also available for mobile and that expansions/characters can be cheaper if you buy them on mobile compared to Steam.

As long as you have a Nomad games account, purchased expansions/characters will sync with your Steam account (and vice versa). Just make sure you have the base Talisman game on your selected platforms and it will sync expansions/characters across platforms.
