Hi Guys,

I thought I would make a small train containing a few of my favourite adventure games. I hope the winners get as much enjoyment from these games as I did. Each giveaway has a level 3 requirement.

For those old enough, which developer did you prefer - Lucasarts or Sierra?

All aboard

Fixed link. Also,
Absolutely true. That game was hilarious and fun. I still remember a delightful bit of banter between the demon and angel:
Demon: "Ah, well, c'est la vie."
Angel: "Shouldn't that be, 'c'est la après vie'?"

From LucasArts to Telltale ...
Sierra is good with Gabriel Knight, Leisure Suit Larry, or King's Quest
but I'll prefer LucasArts because of Monkey Island, Sam & Max, or Days of The Tentacle.

Back in the past, I always used ScummVM to play LucasArts & Sierra adventure games.

I'd say LucasArts have some amazing games, but I managed not to play any of them! It's a good thing they are on Steam (except Full Throttle, sadly), and I'll get to them eventually.
As for Sierra - I spent some good times with their adventures in the 90's =)
Thank you for the train!

Lucasarts, obviously :-)
I loved Monkey Island as a kid, very fond memories (hence my steam name and avatar).
I also really enjoyed Day of the Tentacle!

Lucasarts has to be my favourate over all because the have many great games (Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Sam & Max), but Sierra produced my all time favorite adventure game (Quest for Glory 4)

Return of the Phantom was a good game and the only Microprose point and click I have ever played. Do you have a Microprose recommendation?

As for the vote, no - I wanted to see where SteamGifts fell on the age old LucasArts vs Sierra argument.

well, the list is huge
but Master of Magic and Master of Orion 1+2 are the best in my opinion. not adventure games.
