Why don't you just have a giveaway on this website with the group only allowed to join? I don't really like the fact that you can just choose anyone you want, I rather the website do it so we can all see, I'll pass for now.

It does look bad, yeah. I'll skip it for sure. The game can be found for cheaper though, there is a chance(small), nobody thought therealfliiick was for real either until he delivered.

I think I saw your first attempt at creating a giveaway yesterday.
What people were trying to tell you is, that you can't just make a public giveaway and then pick a certain person (=groupmember) who had joined that giveaway. Public giveaways are for everyone.
However, what you can do is, when you create a giveaway look under point "6. Who can enter" and choose "Whitelist/Steam groups", then choose your group and with that restrict the giveaway to members of your group. The giveaway will then show up on steamgifts for groupmembers of your group only. You are also then entitled to ask for re-roll a giveaway when the winner is an entry who had left your group before the end of the giveaway.
This might help to convince people to actually join your group.

I know all that stuff is quite complicated when you're new here but the way this is set up right now (Group recruitment + expensive new AAA game + GA takes places not on SteamGifts) it raises every red flag there is. Just saying so you're not surprised about the mostly negative reactions ;)

Im not forcing anyone to join and its free, there is nothing to lose. if they don't want to then go away :P simple as. thanks for the help but i think ill just leave it here. in future, ill plan doing it the correct way as you stated.
