Not everyone subscribes to the Monthly bundle though, and all of the games are bundled for the 2nd or 1st time ever 🤔

Nope, and I agree, this would be a really solid bundle otherwise! But since there are so many people who do subscribe or trade games, I'm not at all surprised the BTA was so low at the start... I'm guessing it's going up now because the most active bundle buyers (who are generally more interested in Monthly and usually trade as well) buy quick or not at all.

Grim Dawn I am not going to count because tier 3 is more expensive than the Humble Monthly bundle that it was in. There have been other 'monthly-game' re-bundles in other bundles of course too. Now this begs the question.... does this not hurt and/or kill the incentive to subscribe to the Humble Monthly bundles if many of the games are just going to be re-bundled for significantly less within a matter of months anyway?

sigh Why, HB? This site is really getting more attractive as a store than a bundle site for me, week by week. (But as a store it is still my current second favourite, so, yay! ^.^)
Oh, by the way, Legends of Grimrock makes the BTA drop like a stone. I guess people should refresh like crazy before those appear who'll buy it for T3.

They set the initial average price, normally around $6 or so. Usually it starts out dropping as people buy the $1 tier during the first few hours. Later the average price climbs again. So the point is that there is generally a minimum for the BTA price.

I got tier 1 and looking at the games, I only was interested in Volume. Tier 2 isn't THAT interesting to me, but The Secret World is apparently on my wishlist and for that game, it's a pretty damn good price lol.

You don't, it is locked the moment you pay. The BTA amount will be the one you saw on your page when starting the payment (meaning you can leave the page open for a week and keep that price).

well, I won't cry, I skipped a lot of monthlies, and I see 3 games I want in first 2 Tiers (Volume, Secret World and Dungeons 2) so 3$ for these 3 is not a bad deal for me ;)

I'm the same way. I tend to skip the monthly bundles strictly due to bundles like this.
Any of the other games I miss can be easily picked up elsewhere, usually for a couple $$$.

that was another posibility, infinifactory was one of the few games that I thought looked nice, that where included in that monthly, reason why I rememberd it :)

The item store is pretty much all fluff items (clothes, titles, emotes, pets, mounts, etc.). There are a few boost items but nothing really game-changing or p2w, in the slightest.

Yeah, quite happy it can be activated in those countries despite not being available on the steam store! I gave my key for "The Secret World" to a friend of mine who lives in Asia, and it activated fine so ^_^

I kinda expected that the key should activate fine, as with any other region-locked games, but the real problem comes after... Since the game's an MMO, and there's no server near Asia, it'll probably be unplayable due to the lag =.=' Gonna check out some comments first before deciding whether to activate it or give it away :)

That's how I played it. Apart from the dungeons you can do most of it solo. Since I last played it, I hear they've rebalanced the combat. That was always a bit annoying.

And that's kind of what I was driving at. To me the novelty or appeal of the base game being in tier 2, even as cheap as it currently is, is somewhat hurt by the whole DLC situation because if you like the game and want DLCs later it seems like you are going to just end up buying the base game again. If I wanted to do that I would just go buy the base version of a Bethesda game.

Tier 1 is pretty awesome for those that don't have all 3 games already.
I highly recommend giving Legend of Grimrock 2 a try. It gave me a feeling of playing a tabletop RPG.
