Finally buying from HB again?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
If this isn't the biggest middle finger to monthly subs, I don't know what is.
Still staying subbed though /shrug

well, i think i will got the bta just for the secret world, and the other will give them away
I think secret wolrd, and the lowest i got, 3,05$ make the second tier worth, at least for me

That the only actual promise related to monthlies was exclusivity. Having games that were previously bundled have always been in there and they never said anything about them, but what is the point of a premium bundle if anyone who didn't jump on the ship blindfolded can get the exact same stuff a bit later, and in the case of TIS and Grimrock here, for fraction of the price? They are now just pissing off their own subscribers and also convey the message that you don't need the monthly, you can get the same games later anyway.

They never said anything about the games never being bundled again after the monthly and I really don't see how that's a reasonable expectation at all. Granted, this specific example is from the same company, but there was the same amount of bitching when BundleStars had Beyond Eyes after the HM. Are you really trying to argue that Humble is supposed to include lifetime bundle exclusivity in their contracts?
And Grimrock was in the Monthly a year ago. You're just being silly when you reach for that example and you know it.

And Grim Dawn was in it two months ago. TIS was also a few months ago.
Thing is, that each of these rebundles will just erode the subscriber base more and more, as it seems more and more of a possibility that even if you miss out a game from a monthly, you can just wait a few weeks or maybe a few months and get it in another bundle anyway.
And also tells me that I need to trade the games away faster, as it seems their value is about as stable as the ruble/pound exchange rates.

I like how you just state the it will erode the subscriber base but don't provide a single reasonable argument as to why. I've already provided one for why it won't: Monthly offers the games both cheaper AND faster. Your argument hinges on the idea that people can't stand buying blind bundles, but that's obviously not true at all. Look at Monthly, look at LootCrate, look at unlocking random crates in Overwatch and CoD, look at like every mobile game built around IAPs ever made... A huge number of people absolutely adore mystery boxes and it's a business model that works.

^^--- This. Of course they're going to be rebundled at some point.

It's the nature of the beast. Most indie games will be rebundled at some point. Some sooner than others-- it's a crapshoot.

Just curious, but what do you expect to be different if a female staffer picks the games?
It's not like this bundle is full of macho dudebro games; in fact quite a few of the picks are quite the opposite.

Of course there are exceptions to everything but I noticed a lot of women prefer other type of games. Or maybe I should put it the other way around. If I see someone with the same taste in games as me it's always a woman.
So hoping for non violent games. Exploration games, walking sims, non-action adventure games, that sort of thing.

Oh god...I think I'm a woman. ;-)
Seriously, I hear you loud and clear, and although I'm a dude, I would be interested in a more mystery/exploration/existential oriented bundle.

Then wouldn't this bundle work well for you? You have a non-violent stealth game, a robot programming game, an assembly line puzzle game, a story-rich MMO, a dungeon management game and an adventure-RPG.
None of these games really fit in as mainstream, adrenaline pumping violence-fests. I'd say some of them may warrant a second look.

Hey, I agree. I'm not too interested in any of them either.
Bought it anyway so people can enjoy the games but eh, not my cup of tea, really.

Well, Volume is a highly considered Stealth game, and Grimrock is the premiere old-school-style dungeon crawler game series at the moment. Dungeons is part of a genre with few inclusions, and the fanbase there is always ravenous for more of it. The Secret World is a very highly considered MMO. I saw Infinifactory get a lot of hype and entries back when, so I imagine it's a fairly popular game as well.
May not appeal to some people personally, but bundles are always gonna have that risk [hell, even I have bundles I can't find any appeal whatsoever in, and my scope of genre appreciation is pretty broad]. This is still a very solid bundle, regardless. :)

Never said it was a bad bundle! Just that for me personally those games aren't very interesting :)

Hmmm. Humble Library page seems to think I already own Secret World and the redeem button is greyed out.
But strangely, Infinifactory, which I do own...isn't greyed out.
I am confuse.

volume and grimrock 2 were on my wishlist; already had tis-100, infinifactory, and grim dawn. not interested in secret world or dungeons 2 so tier 1 was worth it for me!
