That is what I was thinking since I heard good things about it and plus it has the knuckles support is what Iβve read. Do you own it and if so how is it. Plus for that game or any other that might be about 30$ Iβll get an additional 5 off from sale.

Ok. I don't think I will get beat saber since I heard bad things happening to peoples screens, controllers and stuff when using that game and for me my game space is pretty limited so I think I will stay away from that and maybe any boxing/fighting games.

I will keep that in mind, yeah I have a small space... so maybe I'll avoid gore then.

How is Arizona Sunshine, and does it support the knuckles?
Comment has been collapsed.
Arizona Sunshine is great with a friend (I played with Oculus Rift, he played with Vive), we also played the DLC which is good fun. Not sure about Knuckles though, better check the forums (but the developers are active and keep patching the game so it would make sense that it does)

I've the Vive Pro, no knuckles so can''t comment on that. I really enjoyed Arizona Sunshine, except the mines - rather scary when my torch batteries ran out.

The Talos Principle VR
85% off, I didn't try it but the original not-VR game is awesome if you enjoy a puzzle game with good writing and story

If you like CSGO, Pavlov is a must. It is basically CSGO in VR and has quite the different mods for maps and stuff.

That is one game that has peaked my interest, but I'm not sure if its worth the 30$ its on sale for, but I guess with the steam sale I could get an extra 5 off so maybe for 25 it might be worth it.
Have you played that game yourself or no?
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm not that far into it. I've played the tutorial and the beginning area so far. The graphics (especially for VR) are amazing, it has great ambience - I actually got a little scared the first time I came across zombies, and the weapon physics and handling are great. I really need to get back into it, but I rarely have a big block of time I can dedicate to getting into the VR setup and getting involved in the game.

VR Dungeon Knight: https://store.steampowered.com/app/566860/VR_Dungeon_Knight/
It's a gem of arcade game often underlooked, really good to play both alone or online.
Onward: https://store.steampowered.com/app/496240/Onward/
it complementes greatly with Pavlov, both games offer a very different shooter experience that everyone should have.
No Man's Sky: https://store.steampowered.com/app/275850/No_Mans_Sky/
I mean, come on. Ignoring its terrible launch, this game came to be one of the best space exploration games you could ask for. And the VR mode has been implemented so well there is no words to describe it. Definitely a must have.

Some heavily discounted picks which caught my eye:
Lucid Trips (90% off - $0.79 USD) - Lucid dreaming simulator.
Naked Sun (90% off - $0.99 USD) - On-rails shooter in a futuristic sci-fi aesthetic.
Luna (90% off - $1.49 USD) - Puzzle game with beautiful art direction.
Final Approach (75% off - $3.74 USD) - Play with airplanes! Reminds me of the old SNES classic Pilotwings.

Sale discount for some isn't all that great but depending on what you're into, here's a little something from different genres...
Just an FYI, some of these can be played seated with a controller or keyboard.

I bought this on the Quest and gave it a spin on my Desktop PC, the game needs a rather spacious environment (or penalizes your score). On the Quest I had some stutters and had a difficult time telling when I am striking the correct pose.
I REALLY want to like this game, but right now it is more frustration than fun, I hope they make it better in future updates.
Comment has been collapsed.
I think its good to forget about scores when playing it. I also agree that it's frustrating to play it on the Quest due to problems with the Quest's tracking. The developers keep updating the game though, and far as the frame rate at least, it seems like the latest updated has done wonders. Still, no other rhythm game gives me the same pleasure that OhShape does.
gave it a spin on my Desktop PC
I'm not sure what you mean. You mean you tried it on both the Quest and using the Quest over Link, or what?
Comment has been collapsed.
The game supports crossbuy so you get a free copy from the regular Rift store, I also have a (dying) CV1 so tried that, but kept going out of my guardian boundaries.
My favorite VR game is Beat Saber, and I can play most Expert+ maps so I wanted something to get me moving some more. It's not necessarily about the score but I do want to "succeed" in doing a complete song properly and I'm having a difficult time understanding what I'm doing wrong.
It's good the game is still getting updated - I will keep coming back to it in hopes one day it will be more fun
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, I think that outside-in tracking is pretty much a must for this game to work well (at least currently). The CV1 does have that, so should be okay. You can make do with small room mode, that's what I do. It's still not a trivial task to complete a song properly even in small room mode. You can also up the speed if you want more of challenge.
I don't like Beat Saber that much, and although Audio Trip does get me in the mood for dancing (and Pistol Whip also gets me moving, but the shooting kind of gets in the way), it's nothing like the enjoyment I get from the choreographies (and music) or OhShape.

Hot Squat - Free ;)
But seriously:
Even though it's not on sale... Beat Saber. I've probably played 200 hours since I got my headset in December. Super fun! Mods make the game.
Superhot VR - takes about 2 hours to play the story. Probably another 10-20 to go for achievements to speedrun etc.
I honestly haven't played most my VR games (which I bought a lot) just because Beat Saber has stolen my attention...

I never heard of that game, does look interesting. I already own pavlov so maybe I will get that. How is the modding in contractor$?
Comment has been collapsed.
The ones i own in best to worst order with my opinion on each:
Assetto Corsa (best drifting and nordschleife simulator)
ELITE Dangerous (best iΒ΄m in space feeling)
Blade & Sorcery (best swordfighting & furniture destruction game, ever.)
Onward (best VR tac-shooter)
Fallout 4 VR (most complete VR experience game imho)
SUPERHOT VR (the most innovative game iΒ΄ve played in years)
Creed: Rise to glory (i only play this stripped down to my underpants)
Warthunder (superfun but they abondoned further VR development it seems)
Dirt 2.0 (best Rally sim ... although it hogs your hdd pretty bad with dozens of dlc you likely wonΒ΄t have)
GORN (gimmicky but fun)
Vox Machinae (best VR mech game - lacking badly in content and playerbase)
Star Trek: Bridge Crew (actually havenΒ΄t tried VR yet :O)
Project Cars 1 & 2 (best looking racing game but meh driving model)
Assetto Corsa Cometizione (nicer than itΒ΄s older brother but meh)
No Man's Sky (i liked it more in flat mode)
Everspace (nice and very shallow)
Iron Wolf VR (tedious!!!)
Race the Sun (no no no no nooooooooooooooooo)
Redout (see above)

I gotten the index when it went on sale last spring and Iβm lacking in VR games so I figured with the summer sale going on this would be the time to buy some and increase my VR games list. So I am wondering here what are some decent VR games that are on sale?
I already own:
Pavlov
Bethesda VR games
HL:Alyx
And I think that might be it, maybe a bit more but on phone and canβt check pc.
