Steam sale ends with a dud

Amazon deals were not that great this year too. Very boring sale.

o.O steam sale was great got 20 new games.

while i certainly miss when they used to be events and not just sales, i picked up a few games i that was happy with their sale prices. there was only two other games i was considering buying, and while they were on sale they weren't on enough of a sale for me to buy them this time, but that gives me something to watch for next sale.

i really appreciated the addition of recycling backgrounds and emoticons (which to me are useless beyond one wallpaper) into gems i can use to buy booster packs. i like turning sets of cards into badges but actually found the leftovers (backgrounds and emoticons) to be a hassle, especially since most of them had so many 3¢ listings in the market. maybe you don't count that as part of the sale or don't care about trading cards though.

i was hoping for one more day of community choice and flash sales, but other than that i was happy enough with this sale now that my expectations have been lowered away from the events with special achievements steam used to put on.
