Procrastination got the best of me, but I made it to the normal ending. Thanks again, fiftykyu :)

Thanks for the Ziggurat.. Goal achieved! Disappointed..
Was "disappointed", so to speak, that I didn't grab any of the better titles.. so yey!! target hit!

Honestly, It actually was, in a strange masochistic way.. Cheers!

Procrastination got the best of me and I only start to work on the map with some monkey patching and scripting 3 hours before deadline, got the map with half an hour on the clock and decided to throw in the towal and just join some not-too-trashy GAs. Till the end, I couldn't find the ITH - which should have been easy with a small modification of the script.
Sigh, should have started working on the puzzle the week before, but hey, the monkey is on the wheel.
Luckily, what I want are in the boobies wormhole, though I'm a sad panda as I didn't win any of those. Oh, well, next time I guess. Great and S puzzle as always.

Thanks for the event, I got a nice bunch of souvenirs from the Ziggurat, a few wishlisted games, some not so trashy ones, and a few awful ones, Im proud of keeping the last ones far away of sensible gamers so they dont tear their eyes from playing so awful games., Im such a hero!
Then I remember probably nobody had the itention of actually play them, so, er, well, A Hero I said!
I didnt got any of the boobie ones, so dissapointment still present as promised. What a good service!, would get lost on the SADISTICALLY OVERSIZED MAZE-LIKE FORGOTTEN UNDERGROUND STORAGE AREA OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ again. 11/10, will throw all my problems inside so they get lost too, Succes!
Now to find time to play the wins and get dissaponted

Thank you again for all of your generosity, both in terms of games and the huge amount of time and effort this must have taken!
It looks like I won another small collection of bundletrash to add to my "Review for fiftykyu" category. I'm sure I'll be disappointed. :-D Thank you, fiftykyu!

Well, I generously dumped a lot of bundle leftovers on unsuspecting victims... :) Hopefully all the good ones went to people who play their wins, and all the stinkers went to people chasing the +1s... :) So everyone can be happy... :)
Thank you too! :)

Thank you Fiftykyu for all the amazing work you put into this event!
I can't even imagine how much work it must have been for you considering you did it all manually. (I so love to automate things with Excel or a programming language that frequently I spend more time tinkering than it would have taken to do it manually. :p )
The number of games given away is just astounding and even though most games might be qualified as trash, it's still incredibly generous of you to buy them all and distribute them to us leechers. ;)
If you did really create all giveaways one by one then I would really suggest looking into my Multiple Giveaways Creator script or ESGST, both of which should speed up the giveaway creation process quite a lot. (Updating the descriptions to create a maze would still take tons of time though... Maybe look into using Excel to create the maze navigation next time? :)
Let me know if you need any help, and thanks again!

Ahh, fortunately someone mentioned ESGST early enough that I was able to get some help with it. But the 300 giveaways per day limit must have led to problems, or maybe I clicked the wrong thing, because somehow I ended up with two giveaways for the same game. :( Still that's fewer mistakes than I would have made by myself... :)
Oh, the sgtools checking button was a huge time-saver, and I didn't have to remember who I'd already checked... :)
I'm not sure if giving away my surplus garbage counts as being generous, aside from a few store purchases all these goodies were from previous bundle purchases, so I already had the keys sitting here collecting virtual dust... :)
Using a spreadsheet to create the whole thing would have been a great idea, fortunately someone mentioned using one in an early part so I was able to do that for the final maze. :)
Thank you too! :) Just dreading the amount of bad keys I'm going to be replacing all week... :) Hope you won a real game in that pile somehow... :)

Well, now it's all over in a big shower of disappointment for everyone involved, I should thank you again for such a terribly disappointing experience! Jokes aside, though, I certainly enjoyed myself trudging through the seemingly endless mazes, studiously updating my spreadsheet (yes, I'm still going on about my bloody spreadsheet). I have no idea how much time it took you to set this up, or, more importantly, how tedious it was, but it was incredible work, and thank you for all of it! ^^

Thank you for playing, too! :) Hope it was fun, at least some of the time... :)
It wasn't one of those difficult puzzles, but it was definitely time-consuming... Sorry it was filled with bundle leftovers, but 1000 real games would be more money than I'm willing to spend... :)

Thank you too, hope it didn't take too long wandering around in there... :)
By the way, you probably already know this but most of those games you won look like junk... :( However, the Fallout Classic Collection is not junk, but great old RPGs, ok, well well 2 great old RPGs and one not too bad kinda-RPG but not in the same league. :)

30 SEPTEMBER EDIT:
Ok, I finally finished sending all the keys, and added everyone who won a gift copy. So maybe accept if you want to get your game... :)
IF YOU GET A BAD KEY, TELL ME! :)
Seriously, a lot of these games were from dodgy developers, the sort of people who revoke unused keys on a whim, just because they can... What to do? Well, if you get a bad key, tell me and I'll send you some of my spares... If none of those work, I'll buy it from the Steam store. Yay.
DON'T WORRY, YOU WILL GET YOUR SHOVELWARE! :)
So this ZIGGURAT OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ was a huge pile of bundle leftovers, with some non-bundle games hiding behind mazes or puzzles or whatever. Now, purely by accident some of those bundle leftovers were actually good games, but most were, umm, not. It was the sort of stuff I'd use in other puzzles for key dumps that hide messages. This time, they became a bunch of giveaways instead. No special reason.
To save time:
TUTORIAL, IN THE CAR PARK OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - 4 bundle leftovers.
TUTORIAL, IN THE QUEUE OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - super ultra removed game! Woohoo! :)
TUTORIAL, IN THE QUEUE OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - first itstoohard puzzle!
THE CUBICLE FARM OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - 8x8 = 64 bundle leftovers.
LEAVING THE CUBICLE FARM OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - Call of Cthulhu® preorder! Woohoo! :)
LEAVING THE CUBICLE FARM OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - second itstoohard puzzle!
ASCENDING IN THE ELEVATOR OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - Assassin's Creed® Odyssey preorder! Woohoo! :)
THE WAREHOUSE OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - 17x17 = 289 bundle leftovers.
CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN THE WAREHOUSE OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - third itstoohard puzzle!
AT THE BREAK ROOM OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - Metro Exodus preorder! Woohoo! :)
INSIDE THE SADISTICALLY OVERSIZED MAZE-LIKE FORGOTTEN UNDERGROUND STORAGE AREA OF DISAPPOINTMENT™ - 24x24 = 576 bundle leftovers.
Also some boobie games in a pity wormhole, because I felt sorry for all those boobie hounds:
ChronoClock! Dunno what it is, but Boobies! Woohoo! :)
Club Naughty! It's garbage! And Boobies! Woohoo! :)
Fate/EXTELLA! No idea what it is, but Boobies?!?! Hopefully! Woohoo! :)
Foto Flash! No clue what this is either, but Boobies! Woohoo! :)
Hentai University! It looks like a pile of crap! And Boobies! Woohoo! :)
Ladykiller in a Bind! It's awesome! And
Christmas SweatersBoobies! Woohoo! :)Porno Studio Tycoon! I ain't paying 20 bucks to find out, but probably Boobies! Woohoo! :)
Treasure Hunter Claire! Over 50 people entered, but nobody said a word! Probably because everyone hates RPGMaker but loves Boobies! Woohoo! :)
Back to the puzzle:
So very close to the ZIGGURAT OF DISAPPOINTMENT™, NORMAL END - fourth itstoohard puzzle!
THE ZIGGURAT OF DISAPPOINTMENT™, NORMAL END - Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice - preorder! Woohoo! :)
THE ZIGGURAT OF DISAPPOINTMENT™, BRIEF INTERLUDE - final itstoohard puzzle!
THE ZIGGURAT OF DISAPPOINTMENT™, TRUE END, starting with
DARK SOULS™: Can't Purchase This™ Edition - My last gift copy! Woohoo! :)
Passing through some other things, some great, some good, some ok, some ehh, I dunno... Spoiler: games I won on Steamgifts.
And finally, one more chance for:
Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice - preorder! Yes, another one! Because I don't care about Total War, and you can't buy Cyberpunk 2077 yet! Woohoo! :)
Lazy puzzle explanation:
The giveaways are arranged in a square, two boring areas and two mazes. You walk north, south, east or west, making a map and looking for the exit.
Additionally, in some of the areas you see an extra thing. When you have walked through the entire area you should notice they are all the same sort of thing, part of a set, but one is missing. The first four itstoohard puzzles are "Here are a bunch of things, with one missing. What is the missing thing?"
Spoiler: the maps were important, not only to avoid getting lost, but also to mark the location of the "extra things" for the final part of the puzzle.
So, because I'm lazy, here's the solution links:
A 2x2 square, http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/cVkdZYdA/7RmCTKtD
A 8x8 square maze http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/h7EAeXNT/VLaDcshb
A 17x17 square, http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/NS2454GN/LkQIEWeg
A 24x24 square maze, http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/gDnG4CMu/MLoPF4zt
Finally you reached the last itstoohard puzzle, where you had to look at your maps. If you made a note on your maps every time you found an "extra thing" you probably noticed they were pixels, drawing something. If you didn't do that, you were screwed, sorry!
By the way, the last time I did one of these it was a bit difficult to read, so this one was in a different font "Shaston 8" which was also difficult to read, but hopefully not as difficult... :)
The final puzzle, drawing dots on your maps, http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/R22Aq9Ky/i31WVkHg
I should probably say this was fun, but it turns out making 1000 giveaways is a massive pain. And giveaway mazes really suck. :) So let's just pretend we had a great time, ok? :)
Thank you for playing, everyone! :)
Original message:
Road trip, woohoo! To visit the ZIGGURAT OF DISAPPOINTMENT™. It's sure to be fun. What's inside? I dunno.
Oh, right, I do know. It's a steaming pile of bundle leftovers. And some dumb puzzle crap, hiding who knows what?
It's hardly worth the trouble, but if you insist... Bring along some of this, this, and maybe even one of these.
And seriously, everyone: MAKE A MAP. Just ask any of the people who didn't make a map, and had to walk through the whole thing all over again...
