Far better odds than playing the lottery, my friend! When you throw the hat in for a game, take note of the number of submissions. Let's say 1,000. Now let's imagine a dartboard broken up into 1,000 different zones. Blindfold yourself, have a seizure, and toss the dart at the dartboard! Starting to get the picture? I'm just happy to know about this group, Comrade. Far better odds of winning a game than you'd have if you weren't a member. Chin up! ^_^

Heh.. if 200 - 0 is bad luck, then my luck is so bad, it's good.

I was going over 300 but yesterday I won HOARD (Around 1100 entries and 2 winners, so I won out of 550 people). :)

(I had won previously of course so I wasn't going insane thinking why I'm so incredibly unlucky)

The correct way to play is to aim not to win a game, that way you always win.

I won at 266th entry but didn't bitch about it. Seriously, it's annoying to see these threads all the time.

At this moment, there are 50,909 members on SteamGifts. The total amount of gifts given is 15,491.
Riddle me this: Statistically (and ignoring the fact that a lot of those gifts have been private/group giveaways), what are the odds that any one user would have won anything at all?

But yeah, with 1000+ entries on every giveaway and 5000+ on the really hot ones, it can be called a small miracle that some people do win a game before reaching 200 entries. Which is why private groups are so popular.
