SGv2 feature sneak peek: Buying additional entries (and more!)

Over the last couple of years of the site, we've received countless suggestions through the ticketing system and the forum about ways to improve the site. One idea that gets suggested quite often, is allowing users to have multiple chances to enter a giveaway. We think we've found the perfect way to make giveaways more interesting and competitive, while also offsetting the constantly increasing load on the site.

Users will be able to purchase additional entries into giveaways! We've set an initial price point of $1 per extra entry, with a maximum of 5 extra entries per giveaway. This will allow users to have an increased chance to win the games they REALLY want, and we've projected the additional site revenue will allow us to upgrade the servers!

Hahaha, the only thing that could've been worse was tweet for more entries and share on facebook for more entries. On a side note I've never understood the tweet and share for more entries GAs. Sure you get more entries but at the same time you, more than likely, lower your own chances at winning by inviting in more people in. The people you invite in also may end up with more entries than you because they have more internet buds.

Can it be setup so that it automatically withdraws my money every time I enter something? I can't be bothered with popups asking me if I want to buy P. I'd rather just it charge me without me even contemplating how much I'm spending. That seems much more reasonable.

Ach, if only I had the cash for extra entries ;_;

Oh well... time to take out some loans to funnel into SG for moar entries! After all, who needs financial well-being when you can have dozens of opportunities to win moar Fortixes, Bad Rats, and Secrets of the Magic Gardens? ;)
