I've found some animes with a lot references about the music with is also - NOT a music genre. (RahXephon/JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
OF COURE NOT!! YOU'RE STILL WRONG!!

There's no need to be an ass because you can't answer a quiz. I thought Q2 was obviously Fruits Basket, it's not, but I don't get mad about it. Just because a fitting answer is not accepted does not make the creator wrong.

-Well, I supose the only objetive (and universal) thing in the life are maths. But wolfram alpha exists so math puzzles would be too much easy >_<
-Why Prince references? Music references can or can't be Prince references lol Also please read Q8 again, carefully.
-You have still 14 hours until the end of the giveaway. But I just realized you are LVL0, so even though you solve the puzzle you can't enter the giveaway since it's only for LVL1+ contributors (read the OP) :/

I don't know many anime with "many" music references... Almost half of them have MANY :/
I've tried these with TONS of references. Just like Boogie with Prince.

About 1+ contributors... ech... ok.
This puzzle make me furious enough already.

Well, AV1 has solved the puzzle knowing nothing about anime, so it is not impossible, I suppose.

SOLUTIONS:

Q1 - If you search that quote in google, you will find this video from the anime Monster. A beautiful and creepy short tale.
Q2 - It seems a lot of people has had problems here. That is a special edition candy box that appears on Grave of the Fireflies. This candy box is one of the most important symbols in the movie, you know what I mean if you have seen this sad anime.
Q3 - Capsules + clowns = Akira. They are the two rival gangs in the movie.
Q4 - K, L, M, N. The alias of the main characters in Death Note
Q5 - Another difficult question. The answer was Fullmetal Alchemist. Alphonse loves kitties and has the bad habit of introduce cats inside himself (that not sounds good lol)
Q6 - Neon Genesis Evangelion. Man, I still don't know what thing they were smoking at GAINAX. And from time to time they tried to fix that making more remakes xd Their goose that laid the golden egg.
Q7 - You can do a reverse search in google for this one. It's 5 Centimeters per Second (Byousoku). This gif is one of the most important moments of the movie, and if you empathize with the main character you can really feel his anguish.
Q8 - Cowboy Bebop. These are the name of its episodes, and as you can see, most episodes are named after a musical concept of some sort, usually either a broad genre (e.g. "Jupiter Jazz") or a specific song (e.g. "Honky Tonk Women"). BTW this anime has an awesome OST.
