As far to my knowledge you don't need to play the other Fallouts to enjoy Fallout 4, but of course you'll have those "Oh, like in that other Fallout game!" references if you played the other ones.
It's good that you're thinking about the others getting the goodies, but hell, you also deserve to have some don't you think so?
