It's hard but not unforgivingly hard. There is a progress in the game in the form of permanent upgrades, the more you play the more the game rewards you. Also you learn the patterns of the enemies too. The game is a must, imho.

It's not hard as such... you will die and have to set back out repeatedly (hopefully slightly buffed) but it never gets to excessively bullet hellish. It's a decent game and the better of the two imo but by the end I was glad to finish it tbh.
It seems you don't have Bastion. This saddens me and yet a solution offers itself! During this sale it appears to fit right into your budget :)

I would skip it. The upgrades and progress isn't as enjoyable as a game like Binding of Isaac. It gets rather repetitive and samey after a while. There some funny quirks but usually you avoid the obvious bad ones. In end there isn't that many different traits.
At end you will also need to grind the game unless you are very good at platforming. The end boss especially is rather tough.
It's fun for first few hours. So it comes down to how much worth few dollars is for you and what you expect out of that amount.

They are difficult. Not like some others (like, for example, Volgarr the Viking), but they are still difficult. You need a lot of tries to complete each level.

Buying any of those 2 games is a great idea. But if you really enjoy stealth games then Mark of the Ninja is a must.

To be honest, I have beaten milestone 1 and 2 and that thing has cliffhanger ending, without the 2nd Milestone it's not that worth it. Heck, the third will be there as well, making the 2nd one another cliffhanger.

The objective is to run an item store and pay back the debt your father left you before he abandoned you to the loan shark fairy that accompanies you. There's monthly payments that get progressively higher until the last one. You can either play the markets(buy low, sell high) or go in dungeons with hired adventurers from the Adventurer's guild and collect loot from it to sell in your shop. While in the dungeon you control the adventurer you choose and you kill monsters to get loot, and eventually fight off against a boss. While in the shop customers come in and they either wanna buy or sell you something and you barter the prices. There's also some other mechanics that affect all that and how you do everything but that's best to find out yourself :P
Also be warned it's near impossible to win it in your first playthrough, especially without prior knowledge. But every time you "fail" and start over you keep the items you had so you start with an advantage.

well i cannot really recommend rogue legacy, because its so repetitive, it takes just too long to get new upgrades imo,

Mark of the ninja looks fine only on trailers.I don't like it no matter reviews and rating.It's not a good platformer.
Some Saints Row game?
The best is SR III,because it's balanced and playing on ground,drive some cars etc.
SR 4 if you want super jumps/super sprints like flash
SR:Gat out of hell if you want to flying through the hell
