That Ghostbusters is just an insult to their fans, good I'm not fan, and I'm not going to watch this new movie. Everything looks utterly bad there, disgusting and not fun at all actresses(at least in that movie), story, "fun", etc.

I dislike it not only because of how terrible it looks, but because it's an annoying pathetic cash grab. There's a mindset now that a lot of famous male characters should have a female version, for the sake of equality. Which is just stupid. And annoying. (I'd much prefer ORIGINAL, unique female lead characters! Lara Croft or Rey for example...).

Studios are just using this for the free promotion (for the sensationalist likes of Buzzfeed and Verge to swoon all of it) and as a quick and easy cash grab. I don't know why it's been tolerated, and I'm glad it finally backfired here for Sony.

Impossible, everyone hates what seems to be hardly even a mediocre cast, of which not a single member is even remotely funny...

I don't know if I like it until I've seen it. Not hyped though. I won't go to the theatre to watch it, barely any movie is worth it.

nothing wrong with the female Ghostbusters, people are salty a third movie never got made with the original cast.. I think this one could be pretty good though Melissa McCarthy is funny... the rest are ok, but you only need one funny actor for the Ghostbusters to work..

It feels more like a cheap parody than an actual Ghostbusters movie.

what an unfunny cast. the only actress i like is kristen wiig, the rest are horrible...

of course, i bet most critics won't dare to post a negative opinion about the film or they will risk getting labelled as anti-feminists... *facepalm*

well, hope i'm wrong and the movie is at least ok, or it gets destroyed. :3

Ok, as a woman I like the idea of a female ghostbusters team, though I fear they will fit them into stereotypes. And I think the bad humor is part of this problem, they want to show that women can be funny but they force it so much that they make ridiculous jokes. And the effects, I see that they try to make them cartoony on purpose, again for the comedy effect I suppose (or also trying to make kids like it), making the entire movie a complete circus. I don't know, I'll probably end up seeing it sometime (not in cinema though) just to assess the damages.

When I heard they were finally getting around to making a new Ghostbusters I was happy. I heard they were going with an all female crew, I thought sure why not, if they get the right people it could be interesting and fun.

Then I heard it was a reboot. I thought, ok I can deal with that, though I would have preferred to see it take place in the same universe, just have this a new group taking up the cause.

Then the trailer hit... and the first thing they mention in it was 30 years ago... wait a sec... I thought this was a reboot, but I've heard the original Ghostbusters are in it but not playing their original roles... now I'm confused. I watch the rest of the trailer.... I didn't find it that funny. The ghost trap looks dumb... The "comedy" is not funny, least to me.

Chris Hemsworth... I seen some video of his character.... He is there to be eye candy... hes playing a very very VERY dumb person. Just how dumb is he? The only bright spot was seeing Slimer in the movie again and he looks good.

I think this movie is going to fail in the theater, mainly because bad word of mouth. Even if it turns out to be a great movie, the trailer is just really really bad. When this movie fails, I fear its going to take another 30 years before they try again, unlike Spider-man where they reboot it like every 5 years. lol

There is one huge way to tell how well the movie is going to go. If they are not showing critics the movie till the day or 2 before hand and/or if reviews of the movie are embargoed till the day before or same day the movie is suppose to be released which is July 15th.
