Does anybody know if the Dishonored GOTY Key (13.60$) from Amazon.com is region locked?

Cheers

Well according to this thread there is someone from Europe who purchased Dishonored (wasn't GOTY though) and said it worked and that it was WW(World wide).

Besides that I have no idea.

Just an FYI, if you buy the base game with that region code, you won't be able to buy DLCs from Steam's store for them, it will say you don't own the base game (even though it's supposed to be region free). I had to ask someone from over the big pond in the summer to get the DLCs for me.

I mean the central europe area of course, it might work elsewhere. TL;DR: only buy the GOTY version or the base one, without EVER wanting the DLCs.

I'm not sure what you mean, I haven't tried buying a DLC for it but steam store does recognize I own the game

I think it did for me too, but when I tried activating the DLCs, it said I didn't.

I tried to buy it but before i end my purchase it says this "Game Downloads are only available to US customers
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please continue shopping on the Amazon.com home page. " and i cant proceed.

edit: Changed my state/zipcode and country to american once and now it lets me proceed.

If you're worried about region locking, why are you trying to buy it from amazon in the first place? It's exactly the same price when buying it directly through the steam client.

Nope, € != $ ;)
I pay 13.60 $ on Amazon.com (~10 €) vs. 13.60 € on Steam

Why the hell get it from Amazon when Steam has the same price? :S

Because 13.6$ is not the fucking same as 13.6€

I think it's a steam problem. The game is $13.59. Not 13.59€

I bought Dark Souls and Payday 2 4-Pack and didn't even get 1 $5 EC email. How long do I wait for it?
