What have you hacked?

I have a USB windows log-in bypass, a Php Forum Script, a DNS bypass, some free dlc xbox 360 hacks, and a few more things stash somewhere on my HDD

I hacked 127.0.0.1

Not necessarily hax or hacking, but i did used to mod quite a bit mainly modded CoD lobbies (yes cod, i actually made quite a bit of money). But, i dont anymore. Was it fun? yes, but its over and really hard to nowadays.

I hacked an old PC with a broadsword....that's what you meant right?

One time my friend left his facebook open on my computer so I posted "LOL IM GAY"

Oh I forgot, this one time, many years ago, I was in high school and we got this new kid and I was tasked with showing him round the school. Turns out he was this guy I had a run in with when we were both hacking into this TV station, he was called Crash Override or something like that. He wasn't too happy when he found out I was Acid Burn either haha woops! We got on after a while though but this is when shit got real! One of the guys in our hacker group broke into the supercomputer of this mineral company to prove that he wasn't a total noob, but he was because an employee detected him! He downloaded what he thought was part of a garbage file but turns out it was proof of something made by the employee and he called himself The Plague and that they're stealing from the company! The Plague then enlisted the U.S Secret Service to get the file back from our noob by saying that it was the code to a virus called the Da Vinci which intends to capsize the company's oil tanker fleet! Anyway long story short, he was arrested but hid the file and the rest of our group were being chased and set up by the Secret Service and we went through this epic series of events which cleared our names and lead to the arrest of Plague!

Well one time... at Def Con... I stuck rainbow tables up my ... wait, wrong reference. Damnit!

Mhm, well let me share you a story.

Some years ago...I was like 15 or 16 years old and I was playing Ragnarök Online (If someone knows the game). We got hooked by some sort of hacker forums and no idea how, we talked someone into helping us hacking Ragnarök Online. We had no idea about hacking so we told him what he was supposed to do. We didnt believe that he is able to do anything coz he is fake and gay...

Suddenly...This guy stole all accounts and passwords from the GMs of Ragnarök Online and gave them to us. Funny thing is = Ragnarok Online forum accounts = Ragnarok Online ingame accounts.

10 minutes after receiving the accounts you could see us running around with items that wasnt even released. The entire server was flooded with msges from other gms, that they may take down the servers due to some hacker attacks and massive lose of account datas from GMs and Mods.

I will never forgett one msg from the Headmaster admin WE already tracked down the hackers and got their IPs + locations, police judgement will follow

My friends and me (talking in skype) were SCARED as shit, that we are fu cked now. I deleted my account, deinstalled the game (in hope this would fix the problem, I know how dumb that sounds) and we even put off the router for 1 or 2 days. We were so scared they could catch us srsly.

Well...nothing happend. They somehow restored all the accounts and they took control again of the forum and ingame.

Like 1 or 2 years later my friend installed Ragnarök again to check what happend to his account. And surprisingly he still had an item which wasnt supposed to be on a normal account :DDD

End of story

iPod nanos to bypass screen locks (not really a hack per se), countless Android-based phones on OTAs that didn't have one click roots yet, the local high school's network to fulfill a decade old vendetta against the school's sysadmin, white hat'd for my bank to prove why "front service panel" ATMs are a risk, a few GameStop point of sale system accounts when I worked there in an effort to combat a network-based malware infection tech support was refusing to acknowledge, more PSPs than I care to remember, and countless home PC accounts password locked by malware with no normal chance for recovery and reformat wasn't an option.
