Haha - yeah, I'm thinking it is pretty hot there! It is just starting to warm up here I think. Hoping we get a few weeks of spring, but that is asking a lot. It usually goes right into summer almost right off, with a few cooler days here and there...

I am 27 and videogames are my main hobby. I'm not quitting it anytime soon.
I love to play local coop games with friends but with my age, my friends are slowly fading away from gaming. I used to play Battlefield 2, CS 1.6 and warcraft 3 almost every weekend with 8 friends in my friend's house or in my 10m² room. It was so cool. We did not need to call each other, we were already gathered every time (we live close). It's been more than a year since the last LAN party and it's so hard to gather 4 people to play Castle Crashers. My students called me to play with them but I think it will be strange to play in the middle of 17, 18 age people haha but I really wish I had more nerd friends to play with.

I do still play, but I enjoy mostly single-player games so I don't mind that much the fact that both me and my gamer friends have lives that often get in the way of getting together for a LAN party. I think my last one was close to 10 years ago. (Man, time flies so fast.)
For multiplayer family gaming, we have the Wii. Although my wife, who's not much of a gamer, do enjoy playing some Torchlight II with me.

I understand. I'm not much into single player games or online games. Playing online is like playing with bots.
I do like the interaction of playing with other people. I've had some girlfriends who were not into gaming at all and we broke up fast. My friends from past who don't like gaming split up too because I don't like social activities like parties. For me it's more like speak but continue playing, you know? haha
Thank you for your answer. I was just seeking advices from older people who continues to play. I think I'm against the tide. I won't meet nerds like me easily. I have to learn to be satisfied from single player games and I have to find a girlfriend but it's not gonna be easy since it's hard to find nerd women.
(some off-topic. my girlfriends were all hot women. it's like watching that tv series: "the hotties and and the geeks". I don't know how I achieved that without social interacting; and I'm not rich haha maybe italians have the power?)

She had to make due with what we had around the house, so no numbered candles.
Every time I do one of them cakes, I promise myself that it's the last time I spend so much time on one... so I doubt I will ever try to turn it into a business. ;)

That's how old I turned today.
I am now the answer to life, the universe and everything. Or, at the very least, I know where my towel is.
My 13 yo daughter made me this nice cake today. (That's Mr Gost from Letter Quest, for anyone wondering.)
