they still are for me atleast...unless i am listening to a great song in which case most of the top comments will be "I am just a non fecundated ovule and i like this i wish more people from my generation listening to this great band"

Youtube comments are various ranging from funny memes,to video explainations to humor and to scam/phishing links by bots/bad guys. Same for avatars.
