Civilization 5 Sale Speculation

I really want to get this game, but because there is a winter sale going on I want to get the most bang for my buck. Do you guys think that the GOTY of Civ 5 will be on sale?

I'm pretty sure it will be. Just remember, Civ5GOTY does not mean "all-DLC". You'd still lack most important kings&gods AND there's also that korean civilization and something else that's not in goty.

It's missing Korean Civilization and Ancient Wonders as well. Gods and Kings is an expansion.

Yup, those Wonders I mentioned as "something else" (KOrea and Wonders can be bought as bundle).

As for gods&kings - Civilization4 Complete/GOTY/Ultimate/whatever-you-want-to-call-it had both expansions. Kinda dick move on Firaxix/2k to make GOTY edition (which usually means "all addons too") and not include all stuff.

Not really a good deal. I remember this one bundle where you can pick 2 games for $15, Civ 5 was one of them.

I tried asking around if anyone has Civ 4 Complete and no one seems to have it.

It seems this isn't one of the most popular deals.

Weird, I just snagged Civ 3 Complete ($1.24), Civ 4 Complete ($7.49) and Civ 5 GOTY ($12.49) back in the Autumn Sale, so did a couple friends. Wicked deals, pretty sure they were all 75% off :D

Edit: they had a similar GetLoadedGo promo recently that had both Civ 5 GOTY and the Gods & Kings expansion as choices, but you missed that unfortunately
