Actually using VPN doesnt matter after activsion, you need to change your store region in order to play it. Don't buy it and get stuck like me. :(

Uhm, no. Again: there are lots and lots of casual players in the world who don't go on forums or anything nerdy like that. They simply buy 3-4 games each year and play them. They just wanna play, they don't want to partake in the discussion. Many of them even buy the game for the singleplayer only. It's not like they don't review it because they don't care. It's because they never review any of their games. Because they don't invest any time in gaming outside of actually playing the games. I know quite a few of this kind of gamers. And I believe they are not insignificant to the market.

I mean adults. People, some of which are my friends, who are 30-40 years old. Why is it so hard for you to understand that? Do you seriously believe all gamers voice their opinion on the internet? All gamers spend a significant portion of their time on the internet discussing and arguing about games, like we do? No, they don't. You may think the majority of gamers hates CoD, because you hang around in certain forums and on certain sites, and on those this exact picture is painted. But the reality is probably a little different - many hardcore gamers (and I use the term hardcore very loosely here) hate CoD. They go on metacritic and vote 0, even if they don't own the game. Just because they hate it so, so much and Activision is the devil. Very few casuals hate CoD. They don't even know what metacritic is.

I have plenty of gaming friends who don't even know Steam has an activity feed and if they would they would not use it. Btw I mostly enjoy playing indie singleplayer games (never played any CoD) but for most games, even for those I love, I don't care about writing a review. There are enough good reviews already and writing reviews is just not enough fun for me.

Myself even when I played games for the first time I never was "casual" and I mean in my 5 years old self when I was playing Tanks on a NES copy called Terminator.
Or when I played Heretic, duke nukem 3d, Claw, Jazz Rabbit 2 on my first PC.
The same can be said of my first COD the second one.
So yes I can't understand the logic per say, I can put myself in their place but can't see the apeal of a reskin.
After 4 + 5 + 2years of computer related studies this became more and more clear.
Only after studing the facsonomies that are the reviews I put effort in understanding their logic and using them.
I can write a small paper on why the COD series is now mediocre at best but I leave it at this!

According to this, Germans wouldn't be able to activate the key since they aren't part of the EU region.
