anyone using Roccat mouses?

I've won a Roccat Kova+ last year and i'm still using it.
They're pretty good, then again, which mouse that costs around 50 euros isn't?
Don't give in to the whole "gaming mice" craze, pick one which feels best in your hand, try to find one that is sturdy and you're golden.
Fuck all the MLG PRO OVER 9000 DPI crap. :)

There was a video making competition to celebrate one year of World of Tanks, i won a Roccat mouse and a Roccat headseat, together with a Roccat mousepad and a big canvas with a tank on it :3
It was a happy day for me, because my last mouse was slowly dying. :)

I usually keep my dpi button at 800, 1600, and 3200.

Anything higher I feel is lots of overkill.

They look pretty nice, and I was kinda thinking about getting a replacement! How much is that Roccat Kone?
I'm currently using Wintech G3! Which is a really good mouse, but the wheel skips couple of steps and the right click is becoming stiff a little (after 3 years of use of course!). What I like about is that besides the sense control button, there's another button which enables you to do double/triple/continues-steady clicks with just one click! which is pretty useful in fps for steady firing! :D

I've been using it for a bit less than a year, still no signs of any problems, buttons work perfect and so does the wheel.
The only thing that bothered me a bit was that i had to press down a bit hard on the wheel when i want to do a wheel-click. I got used to it, i quit being a pussy and became a strong man :P

I like the fact that i can change the color of the lights on it, or i can set it to change randomly, nothing special but looks nice in the dark. :)

My brother has one, dont remember name though.We had a MS laser mouse so it was kinda cool when he first bought it, cause it has all this lighting options, adjustable weight and staff...but after a while..eh...nothing special...and its clicking sound and feel isnt my favorite.

I currently have the Tt eSports Black gaming mouse. Totally pleased by it.

I had a Roccat Kone+ and I have also a Roccat Pyra and they SUCK! The Kone+ broke after only a year, the mouse would block my PC at start sometimes, the pointer would block in the middle of the screen without blocking the PC also sometimes too or simply go wild like a broke robot anywhere on the screen. The scrolling wheel broke after half an year. For the Pyra the glue is exiting the encasing.
I treat my mouses very well like all my stuff.
I recently bought a Logitech G500 and maybe it's not as pretty as the Kone+ but at least it works perfectly but I had problems also with Logitech mouses so I can't be pretty certain about that. Still, since today it hadn't give me any problems whatsoever...

I'm using Kone for 3 years now and my experience is far from same with you. It's still smooth as when I bought it. The only problem I find is that it can get dirty easily due to that silky-like top.

Calling a whole series that they suck just because you didn't have the best experience with them is misleading...

You're lucky. Google Roccat Kone+ problems and you can discover that I'm not the only one. Denying the facts will not cancel the truth that many people have problems with Roccat mouses.

I would have to agree with tragikos, i'm sorry that you had a shitty experience with your mouse, but that does not mean that all of them suck, i'm not saying you were implying that tho, it's just how it seemed to me.
And yes, the mouse can get a bit dirty, but nothing that can't be taken care off, except if you use it while working in a coal mine.

btw, Mouse pointer freezing on windows startup is pretty common problem in usb mouses, just google it. and about the mouse pointer moving all by it self, dunno, maybe it's your mouse but it could also be your mouse pad or dust on the laser sensor.
