It is up to the creator of giveaways to decide how they want to handle out their gifts. Using force on this matter is bound to end up badly. Also, maximum contribution requirement is limited at the moment to 5000 dollars (which requires that creator has given 2500 dollars worth of gifts).

People decide how they want to gift, it's their game, and their good will. If you want to join those giveaways, contribute!

There already is, you can't put the contribution requirement higher than twice your own.

Guys, I don't think I'm getting enough free stuff, and that's because it's all going to people who have contributed to the community. Let's take action!

I turned off my filter to see all giveaways, and at least 50% of them have no contributor limit at all.
If you really want to be able to enter more then that, you'll just need to contribute more. Keep in mind it's not the site that sets these limits, it's the user's choice when they create their giveaways.

People who create giveaways can set the limit for contribution as double their own contribution. So I could make a giveaway for $119.90 if I so wanted.

maybe if you, instead of having a points cap change etc yadda yadda, instead of that you had an ENTRY limit, based on contribution level. so say you could enter 10 in 24 hours with 0 level, and that went up by say 5 for every £25 your contributor level went up.
no need for a maximum really, as you'd run out of points
this would sort of stop the spamming of games they would never play (yes I have quite a few ive not gotten around to yet lol)

free to play i think. you still get entries, you just get more entries of you contribute. its just an incentive.

Current system, while having some faults, is nice as it basically gives everyone their fair chance and is same for everyone. Limits set by the creator of the giveaway are merely supported by the system, not enforced by it. No one forces member to set any contribution requirement. It is set because creator wanted to place it.
What I consider curious is that when people wish for removal of every barrier (no private, group or contribution giveaways), they somehow usually think that those giveaways would still be magically created. Most likely they were created for friends and such in the first place, not for public. Removing barriers would probably result that such giveaways would not be created.

Stop crying! The best giveaways are made in groups anyway.

Am I the only one who finds a lack of titles they can bid on? Even as a beginning contributor are you still left out of the good stuff?
Anyone else think there should be some sort of limit to the limits? Nothing currently prevents every giveaway from being contributor only. Any idea's of a good limit system?
