Does anyone here play C9? I see it has been released on Steam. I actually wanted to try it out even before, but my download messed up at ~50% and I didn't bother downloading again.

According to Steam I should have the game in an hour so maybe if there are guilds/parties or something we could all meet up and work our way up together. I heard it is dungeon based so it's even better to play in groups, however most of my friends are not into MMORPGs.

Some of my friends played it for awhile, they seemed to like it. I haven't found out why they quit (most of the time it's because they get bored of the game... it usually happens pretty quickly with them) though I'd give it a shot if I were you.

I remember seeing this quite a while back. It reminded me of a lamer Blade & Soul hahaha

Yeah, I guess you could compare it to B&S and Vindictus.

Vindictus and RaiderZ are much better.

It was really fun with friends from what I played, but there were too many repeating inconsequential quests and I could see it getting very old very quickly. It reminds me of Rusty Hearts in that aspect. I've since dropped the game, gonna have to dedicate all my time to Borderlands 2!

Well repetition is to be expected in MMORPGs, still beats pure grinding games (which I have played quite a lot)

It is to be expected of MMOs, but so is a bit of variety. Something I've noticed about these f2p MMOs is that everything you do just feels like the same thing, but painted a different color. Guess it's just a result of it being f2p.

The fact that it is f2p makes it quite obvious that its quality won't match the likes of Guild Wars 2 etc.
I don't really care much about the details of quests etc, as long as the game is fun for at least a few months.

tried it for all of 10min... the combat seems pretty nice, kinda hack n slashy with spells is cool... but... the graphics are piss poor, limited character customization, and it's already covered with so many gold sellers that you can't walk into a town without running into a wall of chat bubbles. this is why I hate most Perfect World type games (except FW) and I'd say stay away from this one as well.

if you're really wanting a free mmorpg, wait for swtor to go f2p.

Thanks for suggestion, I will still try it out, as from the videos I have watched PvP looks very unique and much more detailed than in most other MMORPGs.

I am actually waiting to try out SWTOR when it goes free to play, so yeah, thanks for the reminder.

The graphics looks fairly good for a F2P mmo.

meh, unless I'm missing some setting, I've seen much better from Allods, Forsaken World, and many others (which my brain just shut down and can't remember their names...) it seems like it would be better suited for a windowed 800x600ish mode than fullscreen 1366xsomethingish. even have it set to high rez, but still very choppy looking on my end. I will give you that it looks good in comparison to non mainstream f2p companies, some can be real nightmares to look at. and for free, guess I can't complain. >)

I agree with Razor. Graphics are alright to say the least. Also there's quite a lot of costumization in comparison with most f2p games. I do however agree about the gold selling spammers but that's something I don't really mind as it's only in the towns.

Another free-to-play fancy looking interesting game my old Pc can't run, so I'm pass...

Wait a minute. I actually meet the minimum requirements. Oh, I might try this after all.
