I have trouble with the wording on Q1 "this mountain" and afterwards you're saying "the mountains". Is it intended, or just clumsy? Because if intended, I would understand that in a way that you mean one specific mountain that is in the vicinity of all four countries, while belonging to a mountain range going from NW to SE. Right, wrong, no comment, rephrase, hint? Something, please?
No problems with the other questions, although I feel it's a bit short :D

Nah. I mean, the hint narrows it down a lot, but I've tried the viable answers that, to me, are geographically correct. Anyway, it's not really about the giveaway, but I'd like to hear the answer to #1 once this is over.
Also I've been to Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia just in mid-September. Been to Berlin, Innsbruck and Teneriffe earlier this year.

the hint to question 1 made me quite mad - I was putting in almost correct answer for more than 30min. i tried all possible combinations.
The only question I got left is Q2. I have absolutely no idea on what to put there :<

The puzzle went through several edits, when I started there was no hint. That's the risk of starting early (and not refreshing) I guess, you miss the edits sometimes. After Googling and trying 20 answers that failed I went back to the thread and noticed an edit, later another one, that's when I gave up, I'm not gonna keep a record of all my wrong answers just in case it was correct but the question was wrong/incomplete. I'm a bit too eager and forget to check back :P
That's my biggest fear, forgetting something that breaks/resets the puzzle, bbbrrr.
