Will the Bat beat the Avengers?

Do you think Batman will conquer the Avengers single-handedly at the box office?

Personally I hope it does, but considering it is 2D only I doubt it will. I think it will come down to their IMAX sales

I don't think 3D will have that much of an effect on sales of tickets.

I think it will as 15%-20% of The Avengers tickets were 3D/IMAX and the cost of these tickets are quite a bit higher than 2d tickets.

Where I live, 3D tickets cost the same. IMAX is a different question though.

3D, Imax, Imax 3D have a huge effect on sales. Don't know if batman is in Imax.

I went online to buy tickets and they are sold out for 3 days in my city. Devastated. And every movie theatre is playing it constantly one after the other.
