How is this any different than people who post saying some big company is doing a giveaway if you try their service, watch their video, like their facebook page, or whatever?

GMG is doing something like that right now I believe, and there is a forum post covering that. Noone is making you watch the videos, but it is an opportunity for those that have an interest in such.

For me, personally, it seems like an attempt to get video views. You say your channel is non-profit, but I don't know that for sure. I'm not a "youtuber" really though, so maybe someone could tell by looking at your channel. I can't.

Although you have a little comment history, I don't recognize you as being a contributing member of this forum. If I did, I wouldn't really mind going through your videos on a scavenger hunt. But because of your relative unknown-ness, it just appears on the surface to be an attempt at exposure/views. I apologize if I'm mistaken, but I'm not the only one who's seeing it this way.

Well now you just pissed me off. A lot of the most generous gifters on this site actually have relatively low paying jobs (less than $10/hour) and use their leftover money to gift games here. I'm not going to speak for the others, but will confess that last year I was making only $9/hour, and I've been unemployed the last 2.5 months, yet I've given $738.82 in that time (no, of course the games didn't cost me that much). I have no trust fund, no savings, no other sources of income.

Lol, it isn't just "rich people" complaining. Anyone else on Steam who gives away a game on Steam which is 75% off to £3.49 would just make a giveaway, a puzzle, or just make a forum like this and post the link.
