Hello fellow members and partners of SteamGifts,

I am opening a topic to recruit new members for the "Full Games Giveaways" Group.

Our first goal of group limit will be 50 participants

Running Giveaways!!

Rules:

1) All members are requested to keep a good ratio of 1:3 (1 send - 3 won).

2) Value difference can't be more than -100.

3) Your SteamGifts profile must be Level 4+ in order to join our group.

4) In order to join you should have a good ratio of full value games giveaway history.

5) No monthly giveaway. You should just keep 1 sent - 3 received ratio + value difference no more than -100.

6) The games should be unbundled (FULL CV GAMES).

7) You can share giveaways with other private groups or wishlist but it should be a Full CV game.

8) All new members need to create a giveaway within 2 days of joining.

9) Region restricted giveaways will not count.

-- Thanks to Talgaby for his rule suggestions --

Rules are being checked every week. There are 2 warnings, if you didn't fullfil a rule, on the 3rd you are out.
We are building a new & fresh community in which people will be willing and passionate about doing unbundled giveaways each month.

If you are interested, please write a comment and we will contact you to send an invitation.

Requesting without Steamgifts profile check will result in request rejection.

Hi, I'm interested based on the stated rules. But are you also requiring a monthly giveaway? Oh, and is it level 4 or 5 - the steam page rules differ?

It's level 4, I will fix the steam page rules as soon as possible.
No monthly giveaway. Its all about ratio. If you win one you give back one.

1:1 ratio groups are mathematically impossible to upkeep since eventually everyone will stop entering anything to maintain their ratio. They only run as long as they can hold up a pyramid scheme of new member influx.

So what do you suggest. I'm open to suggestions.

Much more lax ratio. If you have enough members, 1:3 should be more or less doable. With a smaller group, you are lucky to keep it alive at 1:5 or lower.

By the way, since it takes nowadays 2-4 weeks for a newcomer to get into a cheap bundle, a freshly-released 1-dollar fake asset flip game bought from the EU (and sometimes from NA) counts as a non-bundled game, even if it will be in a one-dollar bundle with 14 other similar titles soon. "Non-bundled" is still a rather broad term. For example, the moment I am posting this, these wonderful pieces or video game craftsmanship are considered non-bundled:

I understand your point and you are absolutely right.
What about the 1:3 + value difference in a good point? For example you can't drop -100 of what you won.

It is a start. Time will tell if you need to tweak it or some mild enforcement can keep it up.
Then again, small private giveaway groups in the past year or so weren't exactly a thriving thing. I keep seeing fewer and fewer giveaways posted for groups in general, especially with low entries. Two years ago a thread like this would have attracted a hundred responses in the first hours.

Seems you already have potential rule breakers, 2 entries in each of your giveaways.

Of course it will be a adaptation period till the group stabilize.

Best of luck with this DITD. I'm in a few groups already like this and members will be hard to find. I would say that the value difference is way more important than the ratio as it will encourage people to give similar value games based on what they've won rather than ratio which as Talgaby has said could be loads of asset flip cheap nonbundled games. I suppose it depends on what kind of giveways you want people to make.

I would be interested in joining mainly as there is no monthly requirement which I like the sound of.

Request to join SW75.
Is the -100 value difference a good start or you suggest a tweak?

Start with it and if you find not enough people are entering then raise it slowly. You need to find a balance between encouraging people to enter every giveaway and entering nothing to keep to the -$100 value difference. Without the monthly requirements to make giveaways, the group can start to stagnate with people not making or entering giveaways. Being a moderator in another group similar to this kind of group, its the main thing I look at to manage the number of entries and giveaways people make.
