What do you mean? So we can't make giveaways for it? I have spare Amazon keys to this game and DLC's and I can't give them away as usual in giveaways?

It works fine on my NZ account (activated, and could download), but had both DLCs included already. I can't activat those keys myself, because the main key had them.

So why didn't you just create giveaways for those DLC's and gave them away here instead?

Because he wanted to?

Meh, they aren't worth the trouble. I'm busy being pissed about the other stuff in the bundle that was for giveaways. Download only Genesis games are **ing useless. Not even my Amazon account (don't have a US one for this stuff), so RAGE**.

What pack are you talking about? Sonic Action Pack? All games there have Steam keys. I know because I bought it and activated them a few minutes ago (including those old Sonic games).

Sega Awesome Pack was one of the three I wanted. Sonic CD and Renegade Ops were already in other packs I was getting, but I wanted it to do a giveaway with the Mega Drive games. Now I can't use those, or buy some single games.

Edit nvm, I'm a retard

I would email Amazon support and say you brought the wrong pack.

I don't think those pack are Steam keys, that's the problem I guess. It doesn't say DRM: Steam on their pages.

No, my plan is destroyed because I can't give away the download copies. I was happy to give 5 packs of 10 each, but I can't use them. And getting more games requires money I spent getting those. D:

It is Amazon. Just pitch a massive fit that you didn't understand the site and don't lay off, by the second email to them, you should have both a refund and the ability to keep anything you used. Pretty much any trick works once with them. Just make sure to let them know their site isn't clear and you didn't know better. They are pretty cool about refunding.

I'll mention it to my friend tomorrow. I don't have a US account for these sales, so just give my Visa gift card details to a friend that I trust. They went to sleep already.

It will work. Amazon always fold and refunds. Sometimes they make you work at it and send a second email, but they always give in. I don't abuse it, but I do a lot of business there and occasionally I find I have to go this route. It never fails. I hear the same from everyone else.

This sucks :/ You should have checked whether those Mega Drive games were in form of Steam keys. Amazon doesn't say they are so they're probably not.

I thought they were

I should mention I know nothing of Amazon myself.

I'm really sorry about that. I think I forgot to check the last link that you posted there. Either that or I misread it. Ugh, that shows me not to slack off on SG while I'm at work.

It isn't your fault, mistakes happen. And hey, with this thread giving me advice, might be able to do something about it.

It might happen to anyone, we're just human :) Don't worry, you're doing a great job with that thread!

Edit: nvm, you explained. I thought all versions gave the DLCs

Yeah, me and a friend got RU labeled keys from two different Amazon Sega packs. Working find, but already has the DLCs with it, so these keys were unneeded.

Yes, both the Fun and Awesome packs have Renegade Ops(RU) They activated fine in New Zealand and United States. Don't know why they gave extra DLC keys.

Well, seems they are refunding the cash, and possibly voiding the keys from it.

Hope my pre pay visa gift card actually accepts refunds. It it doesn't, the chance to lose the games will really suck.

And no refund came through. Bah.

Their refunds are sometimes slow. Might take a few days. You can actually get them to speed them up, sometimes, if you nag them about it. If they say they will do it, they will. They are an excellent company.

Amazon doesn't have the ability to nuke Steam keys, unless they just got it, which I haven't heard of. I even remember hearing that they wouldn't want to, even if they could. Whatever you have put in your account, you should be able to keep.

The person who got the refund for me already received his half of the cash (he had $4 credit), and given I've heard mixed info on the ability to receive refunds with these Prezzy cards I use online, I'm rather doubtful.

As for the nuking, they mentioned chatting to the publishers, so yeah.

Ah, if it is the card, then try contacting them and asking the about it. They will probably just offer you an account credit or something. I thought they hadn't tried. Amazon won't let you walk away, unhappy.

I'm not sure what you mean about the chatting to the publishers thing, but they don't touch Steam stuff, like I said. Unless this is a brand new thing. Your stuff that isn't Steam, I can't promise, but who cares? You didn't even want that stuff.
