I could press it my ass and it won't do anything besides getting me arrested.
I press it and it lets me cross.

I press it if there's one
but sometimes I'm a lazy ass and just cross the street without doing it
sometimes there is no button at all or there is no pedestrian crossing
so I jaywalk most of the time
