[Buy] I'll try my luck, at least this time we'll get only strategy games, and not some random mix.

[Have] Given that I am a fan of the genre, I already own (most of) these. Money saved!

[Skip] Nothing good can come out of this, I tell you! We've been burned too many times with these "Mystery" deals, no matter how enticing they might appear at first sight.

This may have been foretold by a Fanatical blog post on July 31 titled "Turn-based indie strategy Steam games worth playing" (emphasis mine) which listed these games: Wargroove, Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon, Panzer Corps, Battle Academy, Fields of Glory II

The blog post's heading now embeds this Strategy Mystery Bundle link. It will be interesting to see if any of those games show up in the bundle itself. For me personally, I think the games in the post would hurt the bundle except for Fields of Glory II.

If this is Fanatical's way of starting to give hints about games in future mystery bundles, that's at least better than having zero info on what might be in a bundle. In this particular case, I'd even be happy if it was a foretelling of what's NOT in the bundle. In the game marketplace though, the reality is that GMG mystery bundles gives a game list with drop rates and Fanatical doesn't, so anything short of a game list with drop rates that will be met with warranted criticism.

I am annoyed that the bundle is $4.99 so the typical 10% coupon requiring $5 minimum purchase won't work unless you get some fries with that (read: mystery keys)

BTW I want 3 of the games shown in drops so far and I'm shocked that 3 are never bundled. I held out on the mystery goldrush bundle so far, so I'll wait & see what some other Strategy Mystery drops are before buying in...

Railway Empire, Starpoint Gemini Warlords, Tales from Candlekeep, Shortest Trip to Earth and For the King. Mostly Starpoint is tempting me though, well and maybe Tales but I suspect they'll get bundled in a not so random way sooner or later anyway.

Edit: Uhm, it seems the list has expanded since my first post. Missing Stardrive 2 and Stars in Shadow as well. Wonder if the odds are improving or not lol

Edit: I'm probably mostly here stalking to find good deals. If I were American I'd probably fit right in with cupon ladies. Thankfully it's digital goods so I can still traverse my apartment without any trouble

b) i don't support mystery bundles

You can't choose 5 games because then customers wouldn't buy as many bundles as they do when they are offered mystery gambling bundles; at least, that's the only reason I can think of. Maybe someone else has other ideas.
