Are you supposed to understand the conversations between Khaleesi and the people? I mean is there supposed to be subtitles?

In my 'notsolegal' version, they are subtitled in yellow (the .srt english one I use is in the normal white one)

Ahem... Her name is Daenerys, or Dany for short. Khaleesi is just one of her titles, basically "queen" in Dothraki.

All the show watchers know her as Khaleesi cause that's what almost everyone calls her in the show and it rolls off the tongue better than Daenerys/Dany but you are absolutely correct.

Well my folks watch the show (they are in there 60s) and I have to explain things to them from time to time. I have read the books though, so I remember a lot of the names better.

OP what service are you using to stream if you don't mind me asking? Because like someone else said the original episodes airing on HBO showed subtitles for any non common tongue (English) speech.

You should better just read the books, they are even better than the series. Too bad that it takes decades befoe a new book comes out. And then it takes another year just for translation and stupid split-ups..

Which site streams Game of thrones free with subtitles? I use putlockertvshows.me and there aren't any subtitles.
