if i know the game then i make a reference for it. for example in 40k writing that i am fear incarnate or blood for the blood god or other catch phrases of that universe. sometimes i just don't know eneugh about a game then i choose to just say thank you or thank you very much if i really want the game...

I generally just try to find a way to expand on why I'm excited about potentially winning a particular game in addition to saying thanks. Adds a little substance to it, and also keeps me from entering for games that I don't really want. ;)

I like to say "My pene erecto te da las gracias". It's a good way to say thanks.
