I'll try super mario rpg soon enough. The thing is that I've heard a lot of different opinions and reviews on the game and I'm very happy to say that they are all positive, it seems like they did an insane job on this one, and its a remake worth having and experiencing, and it might even be amazing for new generations as well.

I've heard mostly positive things from the circles I run in as well. As much as the remake fatigue has set in, SMRPG seems to be a well received one at least. I agree that it's the perfect opportunity to let the newer generation experience what many of us loved and grew up with too haha!

Happy cakeday, nothing wrong with preferring pie 🥧🥧. Hopefully your weather bureau is wobbly enough to give you time to feed the reindeer, what a wonderful thing to be able to do, especially near Christmas! 🎄 The most Christmassy equivalent here is feeding some brush turkeys 🙄. Pie is love, Pie is life. It dumped less than expected in town, about 2" of wet snow overnight. Roads heading up to the mountain are a bit worse for wear though. I think this years plans are scrapped sadly. Luckily, the ranch is very consumer friendly so it'll be easy to get comped for a free visit at a later date or even next year if needed. No expiry is nice.
Got to love the gobblers too. We have a few flocks running the area as well but they're mean lol!

Thank you for the nice giveaways ♡ Super Mario RPG looks really fun (never played the original), but on HowLongToBeat it's only an average of 13 hours, and I think $80 (Canadian) is way too much for a game so short :( I personally think it should be around $30... Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is something I'm asking for Christmas though 🙊

Yeah that is a real drawback. The original was short too. It also doesn't help that Nintendo rarely discounts their products and at fairly shallow discounts as well. I still need to pick up Tears of the Kingdom eventually. BotW was so much fun although it took me a regrettably long time to actually finish it haha.

I miss the snow. I used to live in upstate NY in the mountains and got multiple feet of snow on a regular basis, but now I live in the south and I feel lucky if I get an inch. I never saw reindeer, but I did have about a dozen deer that walked through my yard twice a day. There was one that would eat out of my hand.

I tend to enjoy the first dusting, normally it's closer to the end of December though. After that it tends to pile up higher and higher and my back starts protesting all the shoveling. Might be time to invest in a snowblower lol. Understandable to miss it though. It can be beautiful.

It's hard to believe that in just a couple more days I will have been lurking around this place for 4 years. Where does the time go?
AnyWay, there isN't too much to say. I had plans to feed some reindeer this weekend but the weather is turning sour. Booked in early December to avoid the snow that's going to dump in the mountains but nature doesn't always cooperate haha. Maybe I'll boot up the trusty old switch instead. Has anyone tried the new Super Mario RPG? I've been wanting to pick it up. The nostalgia is real. I figure it might be a great time to grab some warm drinks, a dozen or so BBQ chicken wings, and reacquaint myself with the game.
Well, time to wrap things up I suppose. Here's hoping for another year round these parts and maybe a gib or two, here or there. With that said, it's just about time for all the fun festivities to begin, so in advance, Happy Holiday's and stay safe!
