I haven't played Fable III yet, so I can't say.

I'd suggest maybe getting Fable - The Lost Chapters instead for now.
It's on sale as well and is a good bit cheaper.

I was a bit disappointed by Fable 3. If you want to play a Fable and you haven't already, I vouch for Fable - The Lost Chapters.

Angry Joe does a good job of explaining why it's so awful.

What it comes down to is it has an awful inventory system that's handled by multiple loading screens. That's reason enough to avoid it.

I have played Fable 3 a bit and, in my opinion, it can hardly be called a RPG. Everything in this game is very very simple.

If your new to RPG's and looking at Fable, I'd advise playing Fable - The Lost Chapters. It's the best of the series.

Its veery nice Action RPGstyle game. It's easy, quest are totaly for dumb asses, cus u have always yellowy path which show you where to go. But fighting is veery nice and relaxing. If u want to play in a not challenging game, just to joy killing mobs and walking around to talk with people, buy it. But if u want to joy like in Witcher, or other AAA RPG games, dont buy. Its almost the same game like Fable The Lost Chapters the mechanics of the game just didint changed by all this years.

I'm going to add my recommendation for Fable - The Lost Chapters. It is superior to Fable 3 in every single way. For a game that's 9 years old, it looks and plays very well. The PC port got a lot of love and the keyboard and mouse controls feel very natural. It is without a doubt one of my favourite games of all time.

Yeah, nah. If you want an easy RPG-ish game, play Fable : The Lost Chapters or the first Overlord (second one ain't that good). Fable III is not only dumbed down, but plain dumb as well. Oh, and it uses GFWL.

I bought it to try if its really THAT bad (from amazon for a few bucks, so i wont regret it xD). Still didnt find time to do it :P But if you have lots of money and dont know what to do with them (or if its in awesome sale like mine was :D), I think you can give it a try, I ve heard its pretty noob-friendly :)

buy fable 1 instead (and 2 isn't on pc for some reason but if you have an xbox anyway 2 was fun)

then again if you hadn't played 1 or 2 you won't be as disappointed by 3, it was probably better than I remember (but maybe not too too much, the game was like a stripped down alpha demo of fable 2)

(1 was best,tlc is 1 with more content. only things i didn't like were I liked jack's real voice better than the tlc and they broke the end by giving you a 2nd equally powerful sword so evil meant nothing but then again you only got it when you were done anyway so at least theres something to use it on in tlc)

It gets a lot of negative reviews. Understandably so, it's an awkward console port. Controls, Co-op, Inventory, several other things just don't feel natural for PC gaming.

My expectations were quite low with this game before I bought it eventually. I found myself enjoying it thanks to low expectations of the game before going into it. It certainly is not as good as the previous Fable games but it does offer some good fun still. I would only recommend this game if your expectations of it are not set too high, that would likely lead to disappointment.

Fable TLC is better, and has mods.

I really liked it on Xbox 360. I loved every single Fable game to be released. I don't undertand why people always complain about 2 and 3.

No, it's disgustingly bad. Only a special kind of person can screw up the UI so horribly.
