The answer is in the title : 'RICH PEOPLE"
And rich people give 0 fucks

And yet Steam gives 0 fucks. I sent a support ticket once for setting a foil card at the price of a regular card(Yeah.. $0.06 instead of $2 which I went straight away to remove) and Steam's response was along the lines of "Tough luck, suck it".

If he'd have sold it for 2$ Valve would've gotten more out of it though. 0,06$ = 0,02$ for Valve, while 2$ = 0,30$. It's not much for Valve but it's still a huge difference in comparision, especially if you do card trading deals daily, like me.

why would steam reverse a sale. You agreed to sell for that price and someone bought it.

I have quite a few, most from betting, but I have spent quite a lot on opening cases as well. In retrospective getting the skins I like on market would have been much smarter, since I have spent much more than I have gained, but I do like the thrill of opening, guess it is kind of a gamble.

I heard that gambling site from my friend. He said that he lost all of their guns in there and he doesn't even care :D

Well, I had ups and downs as well, I had to start over 3 times already, but every time I get something nice to keep in my inventory, rest I just bet and eventually lose. In my current attempt I have started with 40 cents worth of guns 3 weeks ago, atm I have skins worth 9 bucks safe in my inventory and another 13 bucks worth of skins for betting.

I hate spending money on skins, as you said, they are awesome, but if somebody spend 300 bucks on a f*cking knife, he is a complete idiot. I almost sell everything I get, and I buy games with the money. Anyway, here's my little collection

First of all since there are many ways to get skins(Unbox, trading, drops, betting etc.)not all the people get them by wasting a lot of money from their pocket. For example every single time a new case comes up it goes for something like 15 20 dolar at the beginning if youre lucky enough to drop one at this period you can get pretty good skins or buy some keys and try your luck list goes on...And i dont think a millionaire wouldnt care about his/her a few hundred dolars and he she also can resell trade them without too much loss at all...

This. I bought some skins and StatTrak weapons just for more fun. Because i didn't paid them in cash.

It's the same kind of thing as vanity pets and mounts in World of Warcraft, or spending money at all for Free-to-Play games. People spend money based on their priorities. If someone lives in CS:GO, then they want their avatar to be exactly perfect. I spend 15$ on a haircut every 3 months. But there are people that spend hundreds on a haircut every month. Just a matter of what matters to a person, and probably not even so much about whether they are rich or not. My sister-in-law barely makes ends meet with a deadbeat husband, but they have top-notch computer systems in the house and a nice big-screen TV. Personally, I think that's crazy given that they have a hard time even paying their electrical bills. But if that's the way they want to live, who am I to say they can't spend their money the way they want to. :)
Edit: Also, "A fool and his money are soon parted"

15 $ a haircut ? :)) where i live is only 3 dollars. I am a cheap bastard

Not necessarily. The only thing money really does is amplify your faults and weaknesses.

If you are a truly good person, you see wealth for the test of character it is, are thankful for your blessings, and spend your extra money in charity. Doing that, however, increases your wealth, and so you end up with more than when you started.

Exactly. This is why it is entirely possible to be both a good person and wealthy. The more you give, the more you get to give away. The cycle only stops when you forget to be grateful for what you receive.

Being rich and/or wealthy is a matter of resources, not lifestyle. Look at all the "rich" people who are actually on the verge of bankruptcy.

don't be mistaken between rich people and dumb people, a lot of these people are
a) kids who lie to parents for money (ie. need money for a new game, instead of telling them its for a useless item in a game.
b), people using their credit cards, then only paying minimum balance, staying in debt for awhile

People who focus on multiplayer games are just thinking differently than SP guys, you spend 100 bucks on 10 games and play those for 100 hours, they spend the same amount of money on cosmetic stuff for game which they play all the time so there is not much of a difference thou it may seem absurd to pay for cosmetic stuff it is no different than paying for "license to play". Has nothing to do with being rich or dumb.

Some rich people would buy $200 for a knife. Other rich people wouldn't, only because some people get rich by not spending money. lol

AWP
Are you one of those guys who stay at terrorist spawn point in Dust II? Because they sure as hell suck.
Other than that I don't care. It's their money, if I was rich and I wanted something, even if it's just something cosmetic, I'd buy it. Because why the fuck not?

Most of the real "rich" people. Will not give even a penny unless they can put it in for a tax reduction. Lots of reasons why those people are rich. Few of them are genuinely nice people sadly.
As far as my CSGO stuff? You would laugh about what I have, keep in mind I do not play it much at the moment. I have other games I play and other things I do as well. I do have a max level badge though.. woohoo right? lol.
I actually stay clear of AWPs. I do not like using them as I have felt they where a little cheap to get a kill with way back when they where first put into CS. I always enjoyed using shotguns though.

They can spend their money whateever they want
I know someone who spends more than $2000 in a purse, for me it's insane but who cares?

I was once in a eye place getting some cheap glasses and this ghetto poor looking lady was in there also buying 950 dollar custom frames....not only rich people are dumb with money, credit cards are crazy.

How in the world do people spend $200 for a cosmetic modification in a game like a knife in CS:GO! Dafuq?! I haven't spent a cent of my real money on skins. I want them definitely (especially AWP, but they are so expensive) but I think spending real money is kind of wasteful. By the way, what to do you think about these skins? I got them by selling cases and cards. Total amount spent = $1.21. I also watched a Global Elite match today, all players had very very expensive skins. What do you think about this? Also, show us your collection, and what is your favourite weapon.
