Question about region locks and 4 packs

If someone gives you a ROW 4-pack for a game and you open it in a region-locked country, do the other 3 copies become region locked as well or do they remain ROW?

they will be locked to the standard for the region that opened it.

I traded keys for a rusian 4 pack he opened and got 1 copy and the other 3 became row and traded to me, i did this few months ago.

Btw trade and gift rules changes everyday, so be carefull.

long time ago, was this game (really is a dlc for a free game)

Here you go- this discussion was just brought up a bit ago.

In any case:
The 4-pack (as it sits in inventory) is treated as a single game, region-locked to the original purchaser.
Once it gets 'opened', that "game" is deleted, and four entirely new games are generated, which are region-locked to the opener.

That's the theory, anyway :)
