I feel so sorry about you. I got devastated when my cat passed away, it's always hard to lose a friend. But, keep your good memories of him and carry on <3

No pets, but I know sort of how you feel. I had a dog for about a year, but we couldn't afford the upkeep. She was getting so infested with ticks we had to take her to a shelter and say she was a stray so we wouldn't have to pay $60. I called a few days later and found out she was adopted in a few days. We'll never see her again, but at least she has a good family now. My condolences to you in your situation. How old was yours when it died?

My condolences. I know how painful is lost your best (animal) friend. When I was little I had a cat and he was my only friend for a long time and always was kind to me (even he scratched everyone else in my family). Now I have a kid who has a cat too! This moment of pain will teach you how to spread love to someone else. Now is time just to say goodbye and soon only the good memories will remain. =,)

Sad, be ok bro. I remember when i lost mine, cried for a week.
But then i found a dog (she) on the street and followed me to my home, was raining that day. She had puppies 2 times and each time a keep one dog, after 2 years she died with a bone in is throat (this is even more sad, till today i think it's my fault because i gave the bone.).
Now i have the 2 dogs, sons of she, one have 5 years and the other 6 years.
Sorry for my english. Try to adopt a dog when you're ok.

My condolences, I know how hard it is to lose a pet-friend. I lost my feathered-friend about 9 years ago and it still feels like it was just yesterday that it all happened. She was given to me as a birthday present and I hand raised her. During the time the bird flu was going on my parrot caught a cold after a week of being in pain she died in my arms. Our pet friends may be gone but they'll always have a place in our hearts :)

a good thing to think is that the pet had the best owners so had the best life possible :) some owners don't treat their pets right I guess, some animals don't even have owners..so your dog was lucky to have you and your relatives to care for it

I dont own my own dog, but I have some kitties. We have 7, but I cant find pictures of all of them. Theyre all rescues. /hug Im sorry for your loss :(

Somethings led my life to have to leave my best companion with relatives in another country, but I visited him often as possible, I remember crying my eyes out as a kid when I was told he couldn't go with us. He was really my only source of emotional support, I didn't have a very kind upbringing, but I try to bring some positive to people everywhere I go. This dog really kept me from going postal on everything. I could really use some hugs right now, this dog kept me from the verge of suicide ;-;
Oh, and when I get on the computer I'll start a giveaway.
