Just tried it out. I'm using Skullcandy Lowriders.
There was little to no discernible difference in audio quality in Men of War.
Audio quality in Jedi Knights II: Jedi Outcast was vastly improved. Lots of little sound effects I'd never noticed before, but the voices are softer and a bit harder to hear.
I played some Audiosurf as well. The default equalizer seems to only sound good with dubstep or DnB, but that's just my opinion.
It does seem like a gimmick, but it's not bad. I'm going to keep it around and toy with it some more.
EDIT: Woah. This thing totally butchers Let It Go.

Earlier today, I received an email from Razer about Razer Surround.
Did someone already try it? Is it really a noticeable improvement?
