1 tier, 4 games

16 Nov 2018 - 19 Nov 2018

View this bundle on: ITAD - Barter.vg - Lestrades

If you're looking for open-world games with many possibilities, challenges and - more importantly - fun, you'll feel right at home with the Sandbox Bundle!

Featuring 4 Steam keys from Excalibur Games, you'll be transported to worlds that ooze free-roam and adventure. Experience the procedurally generated world of Jalopy, an immersive driving sim that puts you in charge of upgrading and maintaining your Laika 601 Deluxe motor vehicle. Challenges will be thrown at you thick and fast, so be sure to keep your motor running along miles and miles of open road.

Tend to your business in the whimsical open-world Shoppe Keep 2, an enhanced merchant simulator featuring NPCs inspired by classic RPGs and MMOs. Run your very own adventurer’s Shoppe - selling potions, weapons and armor - and grow your fantasy enterprise from a single room to a two-floor mega store!

Ever dreamed of being a fireman or medic? It's to live that fantasy with Flashing Lights - Police Fire EMS, where car crashes, blazing buildings and high-speed pursuits are constant, and so is your time and effort!

If it's train track building and hours of exploring your own railways that you're after, this is the game to ch-ch-choose. Tracks - The Train Set game lets you construct train sets without rules - with everything from commuting passengers, building an elaborate railway system and riding your creation in first-person from the train cab.

I guess that means you don't agree? I know I'm probably in the minority. I just enjoy these kind of games :)

Flashing Lights - Police Fire EMS looks VERY nice but I won't go just for this one with this price tag. Wishlisted at least...

I'm afraid I have to warn you. Flashing Lights is the only of these I bothered to try, and it wasn't that great. They do regular very minor updates, nothing so far I'd call a big improvement.
I'd say EmergeNYC (which I haven't tried :D) looks a whole lot better.

I really love this emergency forces integration concept... Somehow, developers usually goes full "good plan but terrible execution". In the deep of my heart, I believe them all will fix these games issues and fulfill us with some nice emergency game... I know I'm wrong, but I still keep believing. xD

That's why people use group buys. Maybe you should try it.

Tracks is an okay game, even if it's not for me. Not sure how fun Jalopy could be but I think I have a monthly-key for it, and Flashing Lights and especially Shoppe Keep 2 looks bad or straight up atrocious. (Shoppe Keep returns bigger and better than ever! after shipping a broken-on-release first game in a monthly and instantly abandoning it... not hard to get better.)
Also only Jealopy is not an Early Access game :|

Lol, I think this is the frist time I've seen such diverse reactions from the first three (or four) posts.
Shit, awesome-buy, partially awesome-would buy, one good but not interested :D

Oh, this is tough. Already have Jalopy, but Tracks is wishlisted...

P.S. The former is excellent if you like those type of games, well worth the 5$ alone if you don't yet own it IMO.

+1, won it here and it's a fun ride. Some bugs really screwed over my playthrough though. I'm still a bit too bitter about that to try again anytime soon XD

Yea, it is one of the buggiest games I've ever played for sure. I can't tell you how many times I had to start over at the last city because my car decided to get "stuck" in the middle of the road.

Still fun as heck though.

D: That has yet to happen to me, actually. My personal woes involve losing over $1500 in illegally smuggled investment wine due to them glitching through the checkout into the abyss while I was selling them. That was all my money, damn you, game!

Buuuuut I also had a bugged out jerrycan that gave me infinite fuel for free, so maybe that's just divine intervention. And the bugs kinda added to the charm, hahaha!

Already own Jalopy and only somewhat interested in Flashing Lights, but looking at that price tag, I will probably skip the bundle and try to win FL or trade for it instead :)

Why is it full CV? As a bundle wouldn't it be reduced? Forgive me if this is dumb question, but since I'm broke I can only afford to buy games to give if it's a good CV or deal :P

Huh? That must be a mistake. These unbundled games should be added to the reduced CV list only if the retail value is higher than $100. With a current retail value of $65, it's a huge difference.
Edit: I opened a ticket about this issue.

That rule hasn't been followed for a long time has it? They just bundlify everything someone used to gain CV with disregarding price.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Normally, the contents of a bundle get added to the reduced CV list only if the price paid for the bundle is less than 5% of the retail value of the games featured in that bundle (in this case, the bundle would have to have a retail value greater than $100).

Thanks for the chart Lilly. I think the most interesting game of this bundle is jalopy (it's a good game not great but still good) and i already have it so pass. The last bundles of Fanatical have been a bit underwhelming.

Not a hard pass but the price tag puts me off. 2 USD might have been a bite.

I think it might be worth noting that the the promotional email they sent out on Friday said "Be quick though, this bundle ends on Monday."

Kind of strange they don't have a countdown for it on the website though.

Fanatical Early Access Bundle

FTFY - 3 of 4 games are in EA now, and Jalopy used to be in EA.
I don't think I've ever seen so many EA games in a Fanatical bundle before.
That doesn't matter so much to me as it does whether the games interest me and more importantly whether they work well.
Shoppe Keep 2 and Flashing Lights I've wishlisted, but SK2 recent reviews indicate its in bad shape right now and SL isn't so intriguing that its a must buy.
So think I'll be passing on this, which makes this last day of Bundle Fest disappointing considering the other bundles they put out today.

only can talk about Tracks (<--thank you, SeT!) and Jalopy (<--thank you for the win, PraX!) but 1 euro each is a very fair price.

Tracks is obviously for Trains tag lovers, but kinda too much... woody
Jalopy is something memorable, if you like that art style.

still have doubts about Flashing lights, thou...

This has got to be the only bundle in history where I own every game.

I won Tracks here as well! (Thanks, Atalante!) It's already good, and it's only going to get better.

Haven't tried Jalopy yet.

Flashing Lights just doesn't have much content yet. But I remain hopeful for the future.

I don't know what to make of Shoppe Keep 2. Unfortunately, the developers don't seem to know what to make of it either. But I remain hopeful for the future.

That's the thing about Early Access... you just never know. There's always a glimmer of hope that a game could improve.

All the games included in this bundle are localized in my language (Japanese).
It is very rare. I am very interested.
